Responsibilities:
● Preparing, and collating reports where necessary
● Interface with the management of the Company providing business-related analysis and guidance
● Extensive financial modelling, including sensitivity analysis to support potential investment opportunities
● Perform rigorous data analysis and model development using conceptual and quantitative approaches
● Interact and build relationships with peers and, when appropriate, and third-party vendors
● Liaise with stakeholders and service providers from a knowledge/data/information gathering perspective to ensure that the requisite information/data is available
● Develop and help implement strategies for specific portfolio companies to increase revenue, improve operations, strengthen financial controls, and increase shareholder value
● Provide financial evaluation of potential investment opportunities including performing due diligence, liaising with external due diligence advisers/consultants
● Provide ongoing monitoring of assets with the firm’s portfolios including review of monthly operating results and maintaining project performance
Requirements:
● Strong academic credentials – Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field is required
● Extensive financial modelling skills and experience in Microsoft Excel
● Clear, concise writing skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
● Previous transaction experience (1-2 years preferably) on either the buying or selling side
● Looking for a mature, responsible, intelligent Analyst to complement the existing private equity team
● Highly analytical
● Knowledge of business growth strategy and the risk/return characteristics of private equity investment opportunities
● Previous private equity, investment banking, accounting, or consulting experience preferred Minimum previous work experience of between 3 and 5 years
● Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to perform & prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
● Multi-linguistic skill is preferred
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills
● Efficient, flexible, cautious, and able to adapt in a multi-cultural working environment
● Positive, proactive with taking initiatives, good coordination skill, and possessing tact and diplomacy
