Deputy Director, Finance - Up $16K
Duration: 2 Years Contract
Working Location: Ang Mo Kio / Yio Chu Kang
Working Hours: Mon - Thurs (8.30AM - 6.00PM), Fri (8.30AM - 5.30PM)
As the Deputy Director, Finance, you will oversee all financial operational aspects of Company ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the agency's mission and goals. To do so, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring financial compliance and all matters relating to accounts payable, fixed assets, billing and loan matters for pre-employment and learning adults, general account receivables, financial reporting and the management of donations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Policies and Processes:
- Develop. Review and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the agency's financial stability and integrity.
- Ensure compliance to latest government requirement and regulations. e.g. government circular, GST changes etc.
- Data-Driven Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics tools to conduct in-depth financial analysis and identify key trends, opportunities, and risks, and present recommendations to senior management based on data-driven insights.
- Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement through data-driven performance measurement.
- Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage a team of finance professionals across the spectrum of accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets management, billing and loan matters for pre-employment and learning adults, financial reporting and the management of donations.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across internal Schools and Departments to provide financial guidance and support for decision making.
- Drive Financial Innovations:
- Identify and implement innovative financial strategies to enhance efficiency, profitability, and sustainability.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in finance to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing innovative financial solutions.
5. Special Projects
- From time to time, to lead or support the design, implementation, or review of key projects both internally and/or externally, especially nascent initiatives that cut across divisions and departments.
