Job descriptions: 

• Ensure that a high standard and procedures of Health & Safety is achieved and maintained & continuously promote "See it, Own it' culture. 
• Assist supervisor and operators to ensure proper machine set up and smooth operation, which includes propulsion unit settling, knife cut settling and pallets are guided into propulsion & making section accurately to prevent damages to the parties. 
• Service and maintain the hard metal tooling, recording and monitoring the wear of the slipper and rollers. 
• Identifying and troubleshooting machine problems. 
• Complete fabrication projects to improve production processes. 
• Support production operations as and when required. 
• Assist to inspect and ensure product quality is within the process specifications. 
• Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out according to the schedules. 
• to participate in production improvement programs, eg 5S, TPM, zero accident, FE
• Ensure safety and housekeeping in the workshop, electrical room and PLC room.

• College certificate or above in electrical/mechanical, automation, electronic control or related field or at least 2 years factory equipment maintenance experience in manufacturing industry.

Summary/Objective:The Test Engineer is responsible for supporting HDR (High Data Rate) Cable Assembly Work Center for all Cable Electrical Testing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design Test Tooling assemblies for Electrical Test First Time Build of cable assemblies.
• Review the design of printed circuit boards and fixtures for Electrical Test of First Time Build of HDR cable product and feedback findings to designer.
• Create Process Documentation for Electrical Test processes.
• Create and qualify Test Programs for Electrical Test. 
• Cooperate with SIG ATG to assemble, debug, qualify new Test Systems.
• Support production floor for troubleshooting Low and High-Speed Test systems.
• Perform failure analysis of Electrical Test failed product and determine root cause with support from Global Samtec teams.
• Cooperate with global Samtec teams to maintain Samtec HDR product serialization system.
• Part number creation and configuration in Samtec serialization and tracking software.
• Cooperate with control engineer, process engineer, manufacturing engineer for transfer project & sustaining improvement project on Electrical Test side.
• Adheres to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions.
• Any other job related duties as assigned by management.

Requirement:

• Above 2 years related working experience on PCB board design.
• Familiar with LSET, HSET, signal integrity test. 
• Experience in engineering design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD etc). 
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing process is a plus.
• Experience in creating and maintaining serialization scripting.
• Must have knowledge in LSET, HSET, signal integrity test
• Strong interpersonal, technical, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
