Discover, identify and disseminate the best teaching and learning practices; implement and adjust them to our unique bilingual environment in both your own classroom and the rest of the schoolMaintain awareness and engage community in exploration and discussion of educational and IT-related trendsCollaborate with the HR & Staff wellbeing department to include innovation training to CPD daysCommunicate digital policy and practice with studentsCoordinate with Heads of Section to structure process for systematic review and evaluation of educational technology and classroom innovationsCollaborate with IT Manager on all academic technology operations (e.g. planning, developing objectives, implementing actions, monitoring activities, budgeting, etc.)Communicate and liaise regularly with parents (workshops, info sessions, newsletters, individual meetings), ensuring the community has the opportunity to learn about the school’s digital environment and are conversant with our expectations for themselves and their children, vis a vis digital learningCollaborate with the Outreach/Marketing team to facilitate publication of the school's vision for 'Modern Learning' and the status of current initiatives both locally and internationallyPromote the School’s digital vision within and beyond the school community, including direct liaison with other schools, companies, learning forums, and other digital leaders, potentially writing grant projectsCreate collaborations with like-minded schools, firms and institutions and potentially write grant projectsEnsure good management practice by promoting positive staff involvement, effective procedures and communication.What we're looking forA passion for the school’s vision related to innovation and the strong desire to contribute to the wider success of the schoolLeadership and strong management skills as a member of the Extended Leadership TeamIdeally Google Certified Innovator and/or Google Certified Trainer, and Apple Distinguished Educator and/or Apple Education trainerExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and ideally FrenchEngaging and approachable personality (internally and externally for business development)A passion for current educationally-relevant trends in technology, including hardware and software applicationsThe ability to work under pressure during term time and meet deadlinesAbility to see the bigger picture and volunteer time and energy to our project - Open Days, fairs, school eventsAbility to take responsibility for your own professional improvement; engagement with our individual growth programme which aims to develop each professional who works with us.The duties listed are not exhaustive.
