Job Summary:
The Business Development Director - Finance (China Market) is responsible for identifying and capturing new business opportunities within the Chinese financial sector. This role requires strategic planning, cultural insight, and relationship-building skills to expand the company's footprint and drive revenue growth in one of the world's most dynamic markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial products, market trends, and regulatory requirements specific to China.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes within the Chinese financial sector.
- Analyze economic developments and regulatory changes impacting the finance industry in China.
2. Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans tailored to the Chinese market.
- Collaborate with senior management to align strategies with organizational goals, particularly in the context of China's financial environment.
3. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Identify, target, and secure new clients within the Chinese financial market, including banks, investment firms, and fintech companies.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
4. Partnerships and Collaboration:
- Establish partnerships with key stakeholders in China's financial sector, including regulatory bodies and industry associations.
- Engage in negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and cultural nuances.
5. Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Develop tailored strategies to increase the sales of financial products and services specific to the needs and preferences of the Chinese market.

Qualifications:
