The successful candidate will join the leadership team to move our school forward, to work as partof our team, and contribute to the exceptional quality of education, safety, welfare, wellbeing,happiness and behaviour that we strive to provide for the pupils at our school. The successfulcandidate will join our school in September 2025; there will be handover opportunities over thespring and summer terms.
We are looking for a TLR post holder who has vision and passion for inspiring and engaging bothstaff and pupils. First and foremost the successful candidate will be an exceptional teacher withextensive classroom experience and in-depth knowledge of teaching and learning in lower KeyStage 2 and, ideally, across the first school age range. You will lead by example and take animportant role in developing Maths across the school.
You will have
• Experience of working with learners of all abilities in lower Key Stage 2 and, ideally, across the First School age range
• A track record of successful leadership of a subject
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire
• The ability to initiate, manage and embed improvements effectively
• A track record in successfully developing and managing a team of staff
• The ability to take well informed decisions and delegate tasks effectively
• The desire and ability to work collaboratively with parents/carers and other professionals
• A clear understanding about how to effectively safeguard children
• Extremely high expectations of pupils and a full commitment to raising standards for all pupils, whatever their needs
• Someone who puts children first and is committed to inclusion
