This role will support Professor Louise Dye to conduct a programme of research within this platform which seeks to understand and ensure equitable access to breakfast provision and intake in children and adolescents across the Island of Ireland. This research will support the transition to HDSS and address micronutrient deficiencies.

This RCT will evaluate the effectiveness of the programme in improving young children’s mathematics outcomes, with a particular focus on economically disadvantaged children.

We have developed a preschool-based intervention geared to improving preschoolers’ executive and numeracy skills. The intervention strives to improve the foundations of early numeracy, by working in collaboration with early years education practitioners and leveraging informal educational opportunities in the classroom. This particular position will involve joining an extended team connecting the University of Sheffield with the University of Oxford and our national / international collaborators, to deliver the intervention as part of a large scale randomised controlled trial.

Experience working in nurseries and on early education research is crucial. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle your own research and administrative activities, as well as working as part of a team. We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified Learning Support Assistant to join our team. You will work as part of our team, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, SENCO, Deputy SENCO and Learning Managers providing support for students, teachers and the UTC in order to raise standards of achievement for all our students working with small groups of students or in classrooms across the UTC.

You will be a skilled practitioner who has knowledge and experience of working within the SEND / Inclusion area. A Level 3 qualification within this field is essential and a HLTA qualification desirable. In addition, a Level 2 qualification in Safeguarding is desirable.

Protocol Education are looking to recruit Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) with experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour. This will be to work in a number of differing positions that we have coming soon.

Previous experience working with children is essential. Must be energetic, enthusiastic and be able to work using your own initiative. Team Teach training is desirable but not essential. The role will be working with a variety of children on a 1:1 or group basis, across the age and ability spectrum. Within this role, you will be expected to work alongside key school staff and existing behaviour plans to improve levels of pupil behaviour exhibited in class. Over time, you will build up a supportive working relationship with pupils so that you can act as a mentor and role model, ultimately improving overall attainment.

• UK eligibility to work, an enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to have one undertaken at the cost of £38
• The ability to be flexible and adaptable on a daily basis
