An exciting opportunity has arisen at Oasis Academy Long Cross for an enthusiastic and caring individual to provide support for learning activities on an individual or small group basis in our Academy, under the direction of the line manager.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable Learning Support Assistant to join our highly skilled team, who is committed to providing outstanding provision for children. We need a resilient, positive practitioner who shows a good understanding of child development and a clear knowledge of the curriculum.

The role of an Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP)) is a shared initiative between the Department of Education and Department ofHealth and supports the governments priority to increase access of mental health and well-beingsupport for children and young people. SEND Learning Support Assistant – BG7 (TTO pro rata)
Contract: This is a temporary post to start as soon as possible.
Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School currently has a vacancy for a full-time LSA for 32.5 hours a week. The successful candidate will be timetabled to work both as a Class LSA and as a 1:1 support with SEND pupils across the primary range. Experience of the classroom environment, knowledge of phonics, working with pupils with an ASC diagnosis, developmental delay and knowledge of Attention Autism and PECs would be desirable. Training and support will be provided as appropriate.
You will be joining a friendly, open, welcoming team working within the school. We are looking for someone with a passion for setting high expectations and aspirations for all children and especially those with SEND. Experience of supporting class teachers in differentiating a curriculum to support children’s needs and an understanding of approaches to develop self-esteem is important. Patience, empathy and a nurturing approach along with the ability to think on your feet and be flexible are all characteristics which will come naturally to you.

We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the position of Teacher of English (MaternityCover) for our all-through free school. Teachers in the early stage of their career would benefit from the wealth of experience and talent amongst the teachers in English, which is one of the outstanding departments of our school. ECTs are welcome to apply.

As Teacher of English you will join an outstanding team of inspirational teachers, where you willensure that our students enjoy and achieve highly in their English learning. You will be an English specialist in the secondary phase. We ideally need a strong GCSE teacher as most of your teaching will be in Years 7 – 11. This is an exciting time to join our Outstanding English Department, with opportunities for professional development ranging from KS2 transition with Year 6 to inspiring our students to choose English at Sixth Form and University.

Within the English department, you will find a team who are dedicated to providing engaging,stimulating lessons to students of all abilities, and classrooms where rapport and relationships are given the highest priority. We plan with creativity and teach with enthusiasm, ensuring that every student reaches their full potential. • Honours degree in an appropriate subject area from a recognised university
• QTS

• Masters, higher degree

Experience

• Experience of teaching Mathematics in the Secondary Phase.

• Experience of teaching another subject up to GCSE
• Experience of Primary Phase Mathematics
• Successful experience in a position of responsibility

Knowledge and understanding

Essential

• An understanding of how to teach for conceptual understanding in Mathematics
• Theory and practice of providing effectively for the individual needs of all children (e.g. classroom organisation and learning strategies) including teaching and learning styles
• Assessment, recording and reporting of students’ progress including AfL
• Awareness of Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, SEN and Safeguarding issues

• Knowledge of STEM and/or UKMT Maths Challenge activities
