At Hillingdon Manor, we provide specialist education for 185 pupils, aged between 3.5 and 19. Located across two sites, our Secondary School supports around 125 students. As a Teaching Assistant, you will connect directly with the brilliant pupils and young people we care for, helping to make sure they get the very best from their education. Critical Care Services lead by Clinical Lead, Simon Webster. The Critical Care service comprises of 18 other Consultants: Our Critical Care services are delivered across two unit, one on the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital site and one on the Cheltenham General site. The two units admit approximately 1,500 patients a year. We support elective surgical services including Upper GI resection work, head and neck cancer services, three counties Gynae-Oncology services, a busy vascular unit. We have a busy medical admissions workload supporting all specialities including interventional cardiology, haematology, oncology, respiratory and renal medicine. We have the greatest number of paediatric admissions outside of PICU in the South West with between 40 and 50 admissions per year. What you will be doing:

* Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles, and Carry out MOTs and retests
* Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tyre rotation
* Test the functionality of parts and systems
* Liaise with customers explaining repairs and issues
* Keep up-to-date with the most recent changes in technology, techniques and commercial developments

What we need from you:

First Aid and or Fire Marshall certificates would be an advantage

* Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* Minimum of 2 years as a qualified Technician
* Up-to-date MOT licence or we will support you in obtaining this
* Team player with a positive and can-do attitude
* A full manual driving licence

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a Learning Support Coordinator.
The successful candidate will be required to assess and coordinate required relevant support for all students with a declared learning difficulty or disability. This will include completing initial interviews, high needs funding forms, risk assessments and annual reviews. They will also be responsible for coordinating special educational needs services, such as managing the Learning Support Assistant timetable, managing access arrangements and dyslexia support and intervention.
The ideal candidate will have previously worked in an educational setting and supported young people with learning difficulties and disabilities and will have knowledge and understanding of The SEND Code of Practice and Education and Health Care Plans. They will have excellent communication and organisation skills, compassion and be able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders. They will have an understanding of and commitment to safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults and will have the ability and determination to promote equality, diversity and inclusion throughout all aspects of College life.
