Key Responsibilities:

• Source and negotiate suitable care packages for children that meet their needs while ensuring value for money.
• Manage a busy workload, including handling the duty desk and prioritising new referrals effectively.
• Oversee a caseload of placement searches, ensuring placements are found and confirmed in a timely manner.
• Prepare and present reports and options appraisals to the Head of Service and Service Director for placement approval.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure administrative tasks comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Review and evaluate referrals to ensure they meet quality standards, providing feedback and challenges when necessary to secure well-matched placements.

Essential Requirements:

• EITHER: A relevant level 3 qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or relevant A-levels)
• OR: Equivalent knowledge gained through relevant experience.
• A good understanding of the types of specialist services available for children and how these services impact placement decisions.

• To work on the advice line and/or other telephone advice projects making and
receiving calls from people who may need help with energy related issues.
• To record client details and use knowledge to assess help and support needed.
• To refer clients onto other support organisations in their area as appropriate.
• To identify energy improvements that can be made to clients’ properties and
refer to installers who can fit them.
• To help vulnerable clients make applications for grants and switch energy
tariffs where appropriate.
• To listen attentively to callers (some of whom may be in distress) and respond
to their needs in an empathetic way.
• To be familiar with and adhere to advice line protocol, processes and
procedures.

What You’ll Do


Work with apprentices in care homes and online, sharing your knowledge and industry experience to train and develop the next generation of care professionals.
Tailor learning plans to meet the needs of each apprentice, ensuring they get the support they need to succeed.
Support apprentices’ development by teaching them the importance of English and maths in their care roles, helping them with functional skills as required.
Build relationships with employers and provide feedback on how their apprentices are progressing.
Mentor your learners through face-to-face visits, online sessions, and ongoing guidance, helping them achieve their qualifications and become confident in their roles.


About You

We’re looking for passionate care professionals who want to share their knowledge and experience to make a meaningful impact on the adult care industry. If you’ve held a leadership position in care and are ready for a new challenge, this role is ideal for you.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:


Experience as a Care Manager, Registered Manager, or Deputy Care Manager.
A Level 5 qualification in Adult Care (or equivalent).
Strong technology skills and the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel within your region.
A willingness to work towards Level 2 (GCSE) qualifications in English and maths, support will be provided.

Role Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the daily department operations by performing maintenance duties, repairs, servicing, painting and preventative maintenance of all hotel equipment, furniture and fixtures. You’ll need to be friendly, caring, creative and a natural problem solver.

• Maintain all external areas including loading bay and car parking.
• You will be working as part of a team not just in the Maintenance Department, but supporting all your colleagues to deliver outstanding service and standards to our guests.
• You will be required to complete records that form part of our legal compliance and so accurate reporting and record keeping is essential.
• To work from the PMS reactive maintenance schedule on a daily basis to prioritise and action remedial works as needed to ensure all hotel facilities are in good order so as not to lose revenue.
• Be aware of the responsibility for the security of guests and hotel property.
• Refer any requirement for departmental supplies to the maintenance engineer or Senior Management for authorisation.
• Deputise for the Maintenance Engineer/Manager on their days off and holiday cover.
• To ensure the Company Health & Safety Policy and Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, Fire & COSHH legislation are adhered to and maintain scheduled inspection records and online compliance systems.

Key Requirements

• The ideal candidate would have previous experience of building maintenance, including plumbing, basic electrical and fabric.
