PSPS are recruiting Customer Contact Assistants to join our well-established team, supporting over 400,000 enquiries a year, based at our offices in Horncastle, Boston and Spalding.

We are looking for quick thinking, solution focused individuals, who work with one team approach to improve standards and service. Our recruitment package enables Assistants to join our 6-month programme of exclusive training and mentoring, with ongoing development and support.
As a Customer Contact Assistant, you will provide an efficient, effective and customer-focused first point of contact for customers telephoning and emailing our Client Councils spanning across 3 districts. Leading on enquiries at our reception and post room also, you will provide customers with a knowledgeable and professional service covering a range of council services. Ensuring that all contacts are managed in an efficient, caring manner and that excellent customer service is delivered.
What you will need:
Working in a busy Contact Centre environment, you will be able to communicate effectively by telephone, in writing and face-to-face.
Previous experience in working in a customer focused environment.
Hold Grade C (4) or above (or equivalent) in English and be competent in using Microsoft Office packages.
Hold a high level of experience in dealing with challenging customers and have a high understanding of customer care.
Be flexible and adaptable to service requirements and change.
High accuracy when following processes.
Work constructively with others and use own initiative.
Be confident to actively promote all self- serve and digital contact channels and assist with a variety of admin tasks.
Customer Contact have main offices in Horncastle, Boston, and Spalding and whilst this role will be based at one of these locations, it is expected that occasional travel between these locations will be required for training, collaboration and to meet business needs.
