We are looking for respectful, warm and energetic individuals to join our friendly Scunthorpe service as a Support Worker.
Our service in Scunthorpe provides person-centered support to individuals a range of needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health needs. Some of the people we support can demonstrate behaviour which is challenging, and some have complex physical support needs, but you will be supported and trained in how to assist them. We need people who have a real interest in the social care sector and are seeking to work in services which hold person-centred values. You will be part of a team and receive supervision throughout the probationary process to ensure you have the knowledge and skills needed. As well as providing direct care and support, you will have the opportunity to act as a Key Worker supporting people to achieve their dreams and ambitions.
Support Worker Duties Include:
• Developing and sustaining warm and trusting relationships with service users,
• Carrying out general administrative duties and housing management tasks,
• Communicating and building relationships with service users’ family, support network and involved professionals.
This would be an excellent opportunity for someone that is new to care, you do not need to have prior experience and full training will be provided!
