As a Creative Arts Therapist, what does a typical week look like for you? With us, your day would start with a morning briefing, where you'll share updates and hear about the impactful work being done throughout our Integrated Therapy team.

You'll play an active role in delivering training sessions to our teaching teams, exploring creative activities that enhance learning, and sharing invaluable insights from pupils. You’ll also lead reflective sessions with pupils, encouraging and assisting them to express their thoughts and feelings, and potentially discuss their learning experiences. Helping our pupils to have a sense of ownership in their learning journey, making them an integral part of the process.

Your creativity and expertise will shine as you design therapeutic sessions to help our pupils express their emotions in healthy and constructive ways. These sessions will have a lasting impact, especially for neurodiverse pupils or those who have experienced trauma, providing them with meaningful outlets when words aren’t enough.

You'll support a small caseload, offering 1:1 or group sessions to best meet the needs of the children. You'll also have protected time to develop your own clinical and mentoring skills, along with receiving regular clinical supervision.

To be a successful Creative Arts Therapist, you’ll need:

- A recognised Post Graduate qualification in Art Therapy/Music Therapy or Drama Therapy along with HCPC Registration.
- Great experience working as a Creative Arts Therapist.
- The desire and confidence to run supervisions and offer training and support to other Psychological Therapists.
- Good IT skills – We’ll train you on how to use our systems, but it would help if you had a working understanding of using Microsoft packages like Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
- A full driving licence. Whilst this role is based in a single location, travel to other sites will be required at times including travel to our Tiverton Hub for team meetings and training where required.

The Design and Technology department at Torquay Boys’ Grammar School is a well-resourced and modern department. It comprises 3, fully-equipped teaching areas, a new food room, 2 computer suites incorporating 2 laser cutters, and a technicians’ room. CAD DESIGN TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a talented CAD Design Technician. THE ROLE:

• Producing high quality designs - 2D & 3D.
• Participating in design meetings, providing valuable input and recommendations.

THE PERSON:

• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Ability to design for manufacture and assembly.

Design & Technology (DT) Technician – 1 Year Fixed-Term(22.2 Hours Per Week / 39 Weeks Per Annum - Term-Time Only)Rate of pay: £12.80 – £13.69 per hour (Grade D).
We seek a suitable candidate to fulfil the role of DT Technician. The Design & Technology department at SMCC has well equipped preparation and teaching rooms. The technician would be required to support the delivery of Technology, Engineering, and other areas of the curriculum as directed as well as other areas of the schools’ operations.
The role involves taking responsibility for the practical resourcing for Ks3 and Ks4 classes under the direction of the teaching staff. This includes materials and equipment preparation. In-class support of students during experiments and practical work would be part of this on occasions. Being confident with hand tools, maintenance, workshop machines would be advantageous although full training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic with good communication skills. A knowledge of and passion for design and engineering would be highly desirable. Previous experience and/or a willingness to undergo training is essential. Good IT skills including in the use of spreadsheets, word processing, databases and others software would be beneficial. We are looking for a Design Engineer who has experience within the Structural/Civils arena. You will be working on a range of design projects, from extensions and restoration work on Castles and Churches, through to design works on residential properties worth £m's so the work will remain varied and very interesting!

If you're a passionate Structural Design Engineer wishing to craft out a successful and rewarding future in an established company, this could be the role for you.

THE ROLE:

• Working on a large variety of design projects using Autocad.
• Properties typically worked on are; Medieval churches in need of restoration and multi million £ coastal properties - doing both full property design and also partial design/conversion (designing a new roof etc.)
• Visiting sites where required, to ensure customers needs are clearly understand and accurate specification is produced.
• Carry out surveys and produce reports.
• Business moving more towards sustainable buildings, so you will have the opportunity to get involved with these projects.
• Provide quotations and proposals directly to customers.

THE PERSON:

BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng in civil and/or structural engineering

Minimum four years as structural design engineer IN THE UK - need to be familiar with UK regulations

Chartered structural engineer or near chartered status

Able to carry out surveys and produce reports

Working knowledge of structural timber

Experience dealing with customers directly
