Security Architect
EDF have an exciting opportunity for a Security Architect to join our growing Enterprise IT department.

As the UK’s largest generator of low-carbon electricity, it's vital our Security Infrastructure is at the top of its game, so we are growing our Security Architecture team. We are looking for a Security Architect to help protect our systems and the UK's Critical National Infrastructure by working with the business to ensure security requirements are addressed throughout the system lifecycle. What you’ll be doing
As the Security Architect, you will interact across EDF UK with key stakeholders to negotiate, reach consensus and communicate security guidance and recommendations. You will help Enterprise IT provide a quality service to meet our customers’ needs by working with the business and the Enterprise Security Architect to develop security requirements, patterns and roadmaps to meet them, and assuring the solutions.
Who you are
You will own the security architecture for our AWS cloud, helping EDF improve security, meet compliance requirements and reduce cost, while improving user experience and working towards business goals.
- You will be proven experience of security architecture, on-prem and experience with cloud and DevOps security
- Experience of designing, evaluating and selecting technical solutions for large complex programmes.
- Experience working with third parties such as solutions vendors, outsourced and research partners.
- Experience of working with IT security operations, compliance, risk and governance practices
It is a requirement of this role that the post-holder either currently holds or can obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance.
