NNL are looking for a trainee criticality specialist to support delivery of Criticality Safety Assessments within NNL, our own facilities, our Focus Areas and current and future customers. Your new company

Hays have been approached by a secondary school in Preston who are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant initially for two weeks with the potential for this to be extended. There has been a huge increase in demand, and we are now looking for individuals who hold Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications to work 5 days a week and provide consistent support for pupils who need the extra help.

Your new role

As a teaching assistant, you are responsible for providing support and assistance to the pupils. This could either be working as a general classroom support or working on a 1:1 basis with pupils across KS3 and KS4. By being a teaching assistant, you should possess good behaviour management skills and hit the ground running by building up those relationships with pupils as well as staff. There is currently a high demand for teaching assistants in Lancashire, so please get in touch if you would like to know more or discuss the roles available.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in securing this position, you must have recent experience working with children. The school are also willing to consider individuals from other roles working with young adults, for example, support worker roles. As the schools are recruiting immediately, it would be ideal if you could jump straight into the role. However, do not let this put you off applying, as we are always receiving new roles. SEN experience would also be desirable in this role, but the school are looking for someone to come in with an open mind and commit to the role.
