Major Duties:
Provides specialized evidence based substance abuse treatment services, utilizing various modes of delivery which includes: face to face and TMH delivery of individual and group CBT, Interpersonal, DBT, ME, OEF/OIF, Family Counseling, & Marital Therapy.

• Maintaining an up to date working knowledge of all accreditation standards, including those applicable to Joint Commission, OIG, the Office of Mental Health, and GARF. They would particularly be responsible for organizing the portion of the GARF survey related to SARRTP, which would help to maintain our good performance in reviews.
• Interviews veterans and their family members/significant others to establish facts about the veteran's situation, presenting problems and their causes, and the impact of such problems on the veteran's functioning and health as part of a comprehensive psychosocial assessment. Interprets and explains VA's treatment and benefit programs.
• Reviews all data, subjective and objective, and makes a clinical assessment identifying needs and strengths.
• Uses advanced clinical training, insight, and experience to interpret data and to identify viable treatment options.
• Assesses high risk factors, i.e. suicidality, acuity, and need for additional and or specialized services.
• Assesses at-risk factors and develops a preliminary disposition plan.
• Performs insightful assessment of serious and complicated cases involving psychiatric illnesses.
• Makes independent professional decisions and recommendations for treatment, which is most beneficial to the veteran.

• Handles patient meal service orders.
• Completes quality monitors to ensure food items/menu selections for regular and therapeutic diets are prepared and served appropriately (i.e. accuracy, timeliness, appearance, and temperature, dysphagia food testing).
• Ensures all food/supplies are covered, labeled, and dated.
• Stores, rotates and inventories stock items and disposes outdated food/beverages.
• Advises supervisor of any special orders or changes needed that may impact food production, including instances when substitutions are needed due to food preferences.

Major Duties:

• Responsible for overseeing administrative and clinical operations of the program.
• Responsible for overseeing and directing the program's budget and various control points assigned to the program within the assigned areas and reporting status and changes to the national IPVAP.
• Serves as the facility subject matter expert on IPV and IPV related issues, develops key internal and external partnerships and serves as a consultant to other programs.
• Familiar with the services and benefits available for Veterans, their intimate partners, caregivers, and VA employees from both federal, state and private sector resources.
• Administratively responsible and accountable for the clinical and program development and effectiveness of the facility IPVAP.
• Writes policies, procedures, and/or practice guidelines for the program in accordance with local and National guidance.
• Creates and distributes educational tools, develops programs and implements training focused on specific I PV needs/issues.
• Oversees and directs the program's budget and various control points assigned to the program within the assigned areas.
• Conducts psychosocial assessments to assess IPV risks as well as assess for psychiatric illness, emotional distress and social needs.

The position of Special Agent in Charge (SAC) manages a major field division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and exercises executive responsibility for the primary enforcement of Federal alcohol, tobacco, firearms, explosives and arson laws and regulations.
