Job Overview

We are seeking a boilerman to join our team in for our palm oil mill based overseas (Papua New Guinea).

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible to operate, check, monitor and carry out maintenance of boiler operation.
• Responsible for boiler system care and maintenance.
• Responsible for ensuring that DOSH rules and regulations are complied.
• Responsible for controlling steam pressure and water level in the boiler drum.
• Responsible for ensuring the area around the boiler system is safe and clean.
• Responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the boiler and auxiliary systems.
• Responsible for fulfilling and performing tasks in accordance with ISO systems, EMS, RSPO, ISCC and company standard requirements.
• Ensure good agricultural practices and compliance to company’s policies & procedures.
• To prepare maintenance schedule and reports on a monthly basis.
• To have proper Boiler Chemicals Inventory control system.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least SPM / SPMV / IKM / Professional Certificate or equivalent.
• Candidate with Boilerman 1st Grade and 2nd Grade certificate are encourage to apply.
• Experience: At least 5 years of working experience as Boilerman preferably in Palm Oil Mill.
• Required Language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Overseas working experience and exposure to plantation industry are added advantages

• Prepare or ensure the preparation of military personnel actions.
• Advise supported units and personnel on military personnel and pay questions.
• Provide technical advice and guidance regarding pay accounts and complex pay actions.

• Regulates manual controls to maintain correct alternating current cycles, correct power factor and required electric load on generators.
• Works in engine room on assigned shifts; maintains constant surveillance of turbo-generators, exciters , air compressors, electric output panel, commercial power panel and instrument panel, air ejectors, economizer, deaerator heater, etc.
• Operates main turbine generators, air compressors, lube oil pumps, exciters, condensate pumps, emergency gasoline generator and economizer soot blowers.
• Assists higher grade employees in performing complete overhauls and repairs on various non-operational equipment in the Power Plants.

The Primary Purpose of this position is serve This an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Officer position located at an Air Force Reserve Flying Squadron. The purpose of this position is to manage the total operations function of the squadron on a daily basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible to the Aircraft Operations Officer/Air Commander for all matters pertaining to operational readiness and effectiveness of the unit.
2. Directs all operations and maintenance training programs for the Squadron.
3. Instructs or examines pilots in flying proficiency, plans flights and training missions, evaluates pilots, plans course outlines. Ensures the operational readiness and effectiveness of the unit.
4. Analyzes directives from higher headquarters and information available in form of accident reports and mission readiness reports in order to develop operational plans, standard operating procedures, and implementing instructions.
5. Ensures the operational readiness and effectiveness of the unit. Ensures effective unit manning, retention, and recruitment of personnel. Observes and evaluates effectiveness of training programs and operation of other activities supervised.
6. Supervise, direct and monitor operations programs for the training of a Reserve flying unit, including flight operations, unit training, intelligence, communications and tactical planning.

• Perform a variety of program planning and analysis work in such complex areas as multiple program budgeting.
• Unstable operating programs with continuous major reprogramming efforts.
• Difficult programs of forecasting of new or reorganized operating units/programs with unpredictable variables considered; and complex and multiple funding emphasizing OMA and reimbursable funds and other appropriations.
• Exercise fund control by participating in the forecasting process
• Reprogram by reviewing and analyzing requests by operating officials.
• Review financial reports for needs of administrative management as well as for funds control and anticipation of possible reprogramming needs.
• Prepare budget reports by conducting special analysis and reporting on such as evaluation of budget program.
• Review and consolidate budget/cost estimates through assessment of validity of assumptions.

• Vacuum, dust and mop floors, stairways, corridors, wards, utility rooms, offices, employee lounges, bathrooms and other assigned areas; polish and buff floors, strip and reapply floor sealer as necessary; wash walls and window and glass partitions; replenish paper supplies and soap dispensers.
• Cleans patient rooms using proper antiseptic techniques; empty waste baskets, cigarette urns and trash containers.
• Receives hospital linen deliveries; maintain a system of linen distribution; ensure quality of laundering are met; on occasional may mend or repair linen; collect soiled linen and deliver to laundry or disposal area.
• Cleans operating room and obstetric suites following strict procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
• Uses prescribed protective cleaning procedures in isolation areas.
• Must follow prescribed safety procedures to avoid creation of hazard to patients, visitors and hospital personnel.
• Performs duties at satellite clinics. Specific area of the facility have different cleaning procedures; therefore, employees are trained in all these special areas on a rotational basis of two weeks.

• Serve as a Lead Public Safety Telecommunicator responsible for leading four Public Safety Telecommunicators dispatching Fire, Emergency Medical Service (EMS), and Law Enforcement (LE) responders.
• Monitor alarms and activating Mass Notification Systems in an Army Garrison Public Safety Answering Points 911 Centers.
• Instruct shift employees in specific duties, adjusting work assignments based on priority.
• Perform crisis intervention with distraught emergency callers during high-risk situations until appropriate emergency field units arrive on scene.
• Dispatch police, fire, and emergency medical service personnel.
• Exercise quick decision-making when dealing with public safety emergencies under stressful conditions.
• Serve as Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC) or Local Agency Security Officer (LASO) for the agency’s National Crime Information Center and Criminal Justice Information Services (NCIC/CJIS) terminals
• Ensures all policies and regulations are followed and ensures safety in operations and training.
• Provide in-service training and assistance to employees as needed.
