We are currently looking to add to the software engineering team. Ideally looking for someone with:

• Minimum ONC/HNC (or equivalent) in electrical engineering
• Eplan P8 Electrical (V2.3-2.7)

Key Responsibilities:

The workload will be project based, with a variety of new machine and aftermarket projects. Electrical responsibility for each project will be maintained by the individual from design concept to final acceptance including but not limited to:-

• Producing electrical schematic diagrams, control panel layouts, build specifications and supplementary forms and reports using ePLan P8 software
• Producing assembly drawings for HMI / Enclosure assemblies as required
• Producing purchased cable lists, engraving drawings and labelling reports
• Comply with customer specifications for design and project books for selection of hardware
• Issue electrical hardware onto the SAP business system for procurement / manufacture
• Liaise with suppliers providing technical support to the purchase team when necessary
• Liaise with Sales/Aftermarket, project management and all aspects of the engineering team to ensure that the scope of the project is clear and understood at the design stage.
• Liaise with project management, engineering, ESE, assembly, inspection and service throughout the build, commissioning and installation process.

What you will be doing

You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with complex Mental Health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.

Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.

The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week including nights and weekends. 37.5 hours per week.

Join the multidisciplinary team at Three Valleys Hospital, care for people with complex mental health issues in a safe and supportive environment.

There are a range of services across five wards – including a specialist dementia service - where you’ll gain experience working with gender-specific distinct rehabilitation and step-down services. All 43 bedrooms have en-suite facilities and the communal areas are spacious with a warm, homely feel. Oldfield Ward for male mental health rehabilitation and Ingrow Ward for female mental health rehabilitation.

In addition, Oakworth ward our specialist neuro-psychiatric service for males with a degenerative diagnosis, primarily dementia, which has been designed to care for patients who occasionally have a challenging presentation requiring a compassionate, dementia friendly approach. We provide a specialist environment to give outstanding care across all 3 services and our staff teams develop transferable skills.
