1. Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the JPPSO, ensuring all functional work areas comply with legal and regulatory guidance in meeting customer requirements.

Duties:
1: Troubleshoots integrated nuclear/conventional weapons systems, electronic and electromechanical components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, bomb navigation systems, subassemblies, Alternate Mission Equipment, and test equipment to determine nature of malfunctions and corrective actions required both on and off equipment.

2: Performs maintenance, repair, inspection, fabrication and modification of integrated nuclear/conventional weapons systems electronic and electro-mechanical components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, bomb navigation systems, and their subassemblies for both on and off equipment.

3: Removes/installs integrated nuclear/conventional weapons systems electronic components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, bomb navigation systems, and subassemblies for both on and off equipment and associated test equipment. Controls tools, cleans work area and equipment and completes work control documents in accordance with established procedures. Certifies work produced under the USAF Technical Order Program, and complies with security regulations, directives, and policies.

4: Performs pretest, operational, functional, electrical, mechanical, and final testing of integrated nuclear/conventional weapon systems electronic components fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, bomb navigation systems, and their subassemblies both on and off equipment. Performs explosive operations, loads and unloads, positions, arms, and safes all assigned nuclear/conventional air munitions and pyrotechnics on assigned aircraft and or equipment.

5: Accomplishes configuration changes of integrated nuclear/conventional weapons control, launch, release, and suspension assemblies on assigned aircraft and equipment based on mission requirements. Plans and conducts training of reserve personnel, Active Duty and other employees.

Duty 1: Plans, coordinates, and assesses activities in specific areas of safety and occupational health necessary to the overall execution of the installation occupational safety program and integration with other specialties to ensure safe, secure, effective nuclear operations.

Duty 2: Plans and conducts investigations and analysis of mishaps and hazardous conditions to determine origin, causes, and contributing elements and prepares written evaluation reports concerning findings and proposed recommendations.

Duty 3: Plans, coordinates and evaluates activities necessary to the overall execution of a broad and diverse range safety program.

Duty 4: Develops and provides technical safety training/instruction to supervisors, employees, and/or unit safety representatives on a wide range of work operations areas, such as development and maintenance of job safety training outlines/plans (JSTOs), traffic safety techniques, motorcycle safety, proper storage of hazardous materials, common laboratory hazards, and building evacuation procedures.

• Supervisory: Recruit, select, develop, and lead a diverse workforce with the necessary skills, backgrounds, and qualifications to achieve AU's educational goals. Regularly select, supervise, set performance standards for, and evaluate high-level civilian professionals responsible for the overall academic administration of AU educational programs.
