The Learning and Development Team is looking for an apprentice to join our team. This is an exciting role within the team and one that will be extremely rewarding for the right candidate.

This is a 17 month Fixed Term Contract. Apprenticeship roles at MKUH are Fixed Term for the duration of the training.
You will be paid the apprentice rate for months 1-12, and then versus your age for months 13 to completion.

This is a fabulous opportunity to undertake a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship whilst learning many key ‘on the job’ skills. Your role will often be the first point of contact for our staff, so you’ll need the right interpersonal skills and a drive to deliver excellent levels of customer service. You’ll need good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build and sustain good relationships in and outside the hospital; good attention to detail and computer literacy.

The Learning and Development Team manage CPD Funding, appraisals, Mandatory Training, work experience and apprenticeships. The OD arm of the team manages the internal management training, staff benefits, annual staff survey along with many other ad-hoc projects.

The Apprenticeship programme will be delivered by our external NHS approved training provider. You will take part in interactive workshops and be assigned a tutor to support you throughout the programme as well as a mentor within your team and receiving support from the MKUH Apprenticeship Team.

Working as part of a high-performing team, the role will contribute towards the successful delivery of Trust-wide developmental programmes by providing high-quality and effective administration and project support to the Organisational Development team and Head of Department.
To effectively implement and manage administrative processes for staff engagement and development programmes. Support OD activities and provide project and event management support as necessary. Attend and take notes at OD and related stakeholder meetings and build good relations with colleagues across the division and trust.

The post holder will be a member of the Primary Care Plus team. .This post has the responsibility for providing effective day to day mental health care and management to clients with mental health problems presenting in Primary Care. The PCP team provides a single pathway for assessment, referral management and care coordination on behalf of patients with more complex mental health problems presenting in Primary Care. The post holder will offer short term mental health interventions to support this client group within primary care settings and will work at the primary secondary care interface to facilitate movement of clients between primary and secondary care services. PCP provides a dedicated service package to support those newly discharged from secondary care and their GP practice. The service sees adults with bladder and or bowel dysfunction with or without incontinence. Key Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and maintain engaging and compliant training solutions for internal and external colleagues.
• Adapt training for remote/e-learning formats for efficiency.
• Measure the ROI of training initiatives and provide data on behavioural and customer-facing improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Compliance, IT) to create effective training strategies.
• Establish and maintain an 'Academy' for new employees, offering coaching and performance monitoring before they go live.
