The National Defense Authorization Act for FY2020 approved a new, independent Space Force in the Department of the Air Force. 1. Provides emergency E-911-call taking and dispatching services. Determines the nature of the emergency in accordance with established guidelines.
2. Performs Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) services to callers with medical emergencies.Employee verifies the location and call back number for the medical patient and determines the severity of the emergency situation using EMD checklists, in accordance with national standards.
3. Maintains maps, checklists and charts, including automated programs.
4. Operates and maintains telephones, automated data processing equipment, printers, recorders, facsimile equipment, and other devices installed in the dispatch center.
5. Prepares and maintains reports and records relating to emergency responses.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Provides direct patient care.
• Identifies emergency situations, reports and initiates effective action immediately. Performs CPR in accordance with the established medical center policy.
• Complies with Nursing Service policy/procedure on administering medications. Administering medications as ordered.
• Utilizes nursing care procedures when providing patient care.

• Accurately administers injectable medication with no more than two valid failures or omissions and supervisory feedback during the rating period.

This position functions in the clinical associate role in the primary care clinic, which utilizes a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model. The PACT ICT is responsible for providing direct and/or indirect patient care to an assigned group of patients. She/he will have the knowledge, skill and experience to carry out assignments involving point of care testing, providing treatments and vaccinations, performing diagnostic studies, and patient/family education. The ICT demonstrates active collaboration and communication with Patient Aligned Care Teamlet (Patient, Primary Care Provider, RN Care Manager and Administrative Associate) and Larger Team (family/caregiver, internal and community-based services and disciplines involved in providing care to the patient). This is the full performance level for the ICT position. This is a bargaining unit position.

Major duties include:

• The incumbent assists outpatient licensed staff with the delivery of care to patients with complex, specialized, and potentially life-threatening situations.
• Performs observation-based screening and collecting patient information in collaboration with licensed personnel.
• Completes approved templates and tools, such as the outpatient intake form, normal result notes, and follow up treatment protocols established by the agency.
• Assists in behavioral/psychiatric situations in an outpatient setting. This can include assisting licensed personnel with crisis intervention, management of aggressive or suicidal psychiatric patients, by providing one-to-one observations and applying prevention and management of disruptive behavior techniques (PMDB).
• Performs duties focused on communication techniques required to complete the questioners and templates approved for use in any outpatient clinical setting, including active listening, restating, and mirroring.

• Manage Front Range Environmental Restoration Program activities at multiple sites.
• Prepare letters, plans, scopes of work and other program documents to provide clear communication to regulators, other stakeholders, and contractors.
• Serves as a project manager for assigned component organization.
• Develops detailed remediation strategies, design drawings, and construction specifications for CERCLA/RCRA-related activities and facilities.

• To organize the Security Fire Fighting Team in the event of an emergency.

Employee Management

• To guide, supervise and motivate the performance of all security personnel.
• To plan and carry out regular training for security personnel, involving other managers of the hotel as required.
• Brief the Security Officers daily on duties required of them.  Ensure that all Security staffs are at area of their assignment and are have the information and equipment required to do their jobs.
