The Deputy Executive Director, Medical Center's managerial duties and responsibilities involve final decisions which have a direct and substantial effect on the health care organization and programs.

These include, but are not limited to, decisions affecting the nature, scope and quality of, and emphases in the facility's/system's patient care programs and activities.

The Deputy Executive Director, Medical Center in collaboration with the Executive Director, Medical Center:

* Determines program goals and objectives, and develops short and long-range plans for achieving them, in conjunction with the overall plans of the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) consistent with the strategic planning process;

* Directs a comprehensive evaluation of program goals and objectives and makes necessary adjustments to improve delivery of patient care services;

* Organize and control program evaluation activities;

The Deputy Executive Director, Medical Center:

The Deputy Network Director (DND) will serve as the alter ego to the Network Director (ND). As such, the DND directs highly complex healthcare delivery programs that involve major policy development of mission essential functions of VHA, which impacts the national economy. The DND oversees day-to-day operations of the VISN to ensuring oversight and integration of the functioning of the medical centers and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC).

The assigned duties require extensive knowledge of quality assessment, survey instruments and techniques. The incumbent must also have a full understanding of the requirements of various accrediting bodies (e.g. JCAHO, CARF, etc.) as they apply to the different types of facilities and programs within the VISN, such that recommendations to correct deficiencies may be made. Such ability and skill are based upon the incumbent's professional training and knowledge of health systems management and trends.

The incumbent must have extensive knowledge of the administrative operation of medical facilities, including Financial Management, Human Resources, Acquisition and Materials Management, Engineering, Patient Administration, etc.

Coordinates functions between the VISN's facilities and the Deputy Under Secretary for Health for Operations and Management.

This position has the responsibility to direct the organization's daily operation and management of VISN employees to accomplish the business of caring for enrolled Veterans' health care needs managing a large budget.

Business Management- Coordinates and assists in the development of the annual VISN strategic and business plan. Works closely with the VISN Strategic Planner (SP) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Operations Manager (OM) to ensure that long and short range goals are identified and accomplished and that resources are adjusted to adequately support operating initiatives.

- Works with the VISN CFO, SP and OM in developing and executing the budget and financial plans and that those actions are based on effective controls and realistic projections.

- Works directly with OM and CFO in striving to achieve financial and operating goals to include establishing monitors to asses value and measure program and system performance.

- Administers a data management reporting system which provides appropriate data for decision-making in such areas as: organizational improvements; changes in delegation of authority; position management and coordination among the VISN's programs and services.

The incumbent personally assists the Executive Director, Veterans Integrated Service Network in special complex assignments often of a highly sensitive nature. He/she is involved at all levels- Headquarters, Network Office and Medical Center, and must be intimately knowledgeable about the missions, functions, and operations of all three. In every instance, the incumbent is expected to fully understand the mission and operational objectives of highly affiliated tertiary care medical centers, unaffiliated secondary care medical centers, domicillaries, nursing home, outpatient clinics, and the numerous and various organizational components of VA Headquarters.

The incumbent functions as liaison with all elements of Headquarters, and is required to have an in-depth working knowledge of all facilities in the Network.

The incumbent is an important member of the decision making team in the Executive Director, Veterans Integrated Service Network's office. He/she provides input to and makes decisions that have strong impact on medical center, Network and national matters.

These decisions affect critical healthcare operations, research programs, educational and training matters, DoD contingency support, as well as all administrative activities.

The Chief of Surgical Service reports directly to the Chief of Staff (COS) and is an actively practicing surgeon or surgical specialty physician. As a CoStar Regional Director (RD), you will have overall responsibility for ensuring the development and successful delivery of CoStar’s growth objectives for the business in your assigned region.  You will be responsible for growing and developing the region’s revenues by selling new subscriptions to new customers, growing existing customer revenues by up/crossing selling additional/other CoStar services and ensuring high levels of customer service and high renewal rates.

You will manage a team of sales professionals who are focused on growing new and existing customer business, driving product usage/adoption, preventing reversals, managing accounts and providing outstanding customer service. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Grow regional/team revenues, meet and exceed annual sales growth targets
• Attract, hire, develop, motivate and develop high impact salespeople capable of meeting/exceeding sales quota
• Spend 3-4 days per week in the field on sales calls with their salespeople and provide coaching and training as necessary to enhance their sales effectiveness by meeting and exceeding sales quotas
• Manage the identification, prioritization and winning of new client relationships as well as the retention and growth of our current clients. Get to know all of the major accounts in the market
• Monitor sales performance and hold salespeople accountable to the required level of sales activity and client relationships to ensure the achievement of business performance targets and standards
• Active management of team member’s weekly activities is essential including weekly attendance to the Monday Morning Sales Meeting, weekly CoStar office attendance and prompt use of Enterprise/GoSell CRM systems which captures sales activities, sales pipelines and account assignments
• Establish individual and team performance targets that align with overall business goals.  Monitor performance and take action, as necessary, to ensure timely resolution of performance issues and personnel changes required to ensure targets are achieved
• Develop and mentor all team members
• Ensure CoStar culture and values are adopted my team members

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Client facing experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry strongly preferred
• Five or more years of progressive experience in a front-line sales leadership role selling Data, Research and Analytic platforms or tools, commercial real estate, financial services, business intelligence, marketing or information provider
• Five or more years of experience directly managing 6-12 sales professionals, including the ability to attract, hire, train and develop a high performing sales team
• Experience being responsible for a book of business in excess of $10 million in annual revenue
• Experience managing sales efforts in a highly transactional, consultative sales oriented, fast-paced organization with a short cycle-time sales model

ABOUT THE ROLE

CoStar delivers real-time, verified commercial real estate data that enables our commercial real estate clients to make informed, high impact decisions ahead of competitors. CoStar is seeking a Senior Director of Market Analytics to join our growing analytics organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing analytic content (listed below) for the greater Washington, DC metro area. The Senior Director will play a key role as a client- and industry-facing representative of CoStar and be responsible for delivering CoStar’s view of the market and the outlook.

The position will be based in our DC headquarters, in an optional hybrid work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce meaningful, relevant, and insightful analysis of real estate market conditions for inclusion in CoStar’s product offering

• Content will take various forms, including, but not limited to: (1) written narratives in CoStar’s market and sub-market reports; (2) video content; (3) presentations to clients and at industry events; and (4) written and visual content for CoStar’s news platform

• Engage in interactions and discussions with CoStar customers

• Translate analysis and insights into meaningful content to deliver to the market

• Deliver in person and video market updates to CoStar clients and industry groups, focusing on economic and commercial real estate trends in the Washington, DC area

• Regularly review and monitor CoStar data for accuracy, timeliness, and quality, and ensuring errors and outliers are corrected in a timely manner.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Twelve or more years of work experience in commercial real estate, with some experience in the DC metro-area market

• High level of understanding of commercial and residential real estate fundamentals, urban planning issues as well as economic theory and principles applied to the real estate industry

• Strong analytical and writing skills, and presentation/public speaking skills

• Demonstrated writing skills; ability to write effectively and maintain a high volume of written content

• Experience in using MS Office; proficient with MS Excel

• Familiarity with markets in the local area, as either a resident or a real estate professional

• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s or other graduate degree in a related field

• Polished presentation skills and communication skills

• Experience speaking and presenting data related to market conditions to others in both large groups and in small executive-level settings

• Client orientation and commitment to help clients succeed

• SQL experience

• Macrobond or Haver Analytics experience

We are looking for an experienced Lead Directory Services Engineer to join our Identity and Access Management team. This individual will work with their team members to enhance the security of our corporate environment by developing processes and implementing technology around user identity and access management and zero-trust methodologies.

Securely connect 5000 employees to all corporate resources and connect 800 technology developers and engineers to resources across AWS, Azure, GCP, and an 8000 VMware IaaS infrastructure, all through a zero trust framework.

Opportunity to work in an advanced security operation that is responsible for securing the data and products behind 35 websites serving 75M global visitors/mo, running on top of multiple private and public clouds.

This position is located in Washington, DC and offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert for identity provisioning, security, and governance.
• Analyze, design, and support a highly complex, enterprise level Active Directory and Single Sign On services in a hybrid on-premise and cloud hosted environment.
• Implement, execute, and support critical IAM processes, including overall identity management, access management, provisioning/de-provisioning, user onboarding/offboarding, and access certifications/review.
• Manage and troubleshoot all aspects of Active Directory and Azure EntraID, including federation, infrastructure, and user accounts.
• Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
• Proactively identify potential threats, exploit attempts and other security events related to Directory Services and IAM. Make recommendations and/or take action to mitigate these issues as appropriate. Actively contribute to and participate in security incident response as needed.
• Work with internal Security teams to support incident response and logging with enterprise SIEM systems such as Azure Sentinel.
• Work with internal Security teams to remediate critical security findings as they relate to identity.
• Work with internal stakeholders to implement appropriate role-based access controls for access within the organization.
• Identify and implement opportunities for technology, automation, and security enhancements for IAM functions.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college.  
• A track record of commitment to prior employers 
• 8+ years total experience in a technical role such as security, network, systems, or software engineering.
• 5+ years total experience directly supporting Active Directory and Azure EntraID in a large, multi-forest, hybrid environment.
• 3+ years of experience engineering IAM solutions in AWS, Azure, or a large scale IdP implementation (Entra ID, Okta, Ping, etc).
• 3+ years of experience work with SIEM and advanced logging/correlation tools.
• 2+ years writing PowerShell or Python scripts from scratch.
• Ability to get to done-done when troubleshooting issues or engineering solutions.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Expert knowledge of the administration of Active Directory and GPOs in a complex, multi-forest environment.
• Expert knowledge of the administration of EntraID and AD Connect in a hybrid-domain environment.
• Expert knowledge of ADFS and PKI in a multi-OS environment.
