Section Chief, Pulmonary Section maintains:
Professional, technical, and administrative knowledge, competencies, and skills to provide effective, timely and quality responses to patients' clinical needs and problems. Patient ages range from 18 through the geriatric years.

Comply with credentialing and privileging and other monitoring and evaluation requirements.

Maintains high clinical standards that are carried into decision-making processes, and continually strive to maintain and enhance teaching skills to effectively teach fellows, house staff and students.

Takes an active role as a management team members:

Providing advice and counsel in accomplishing the medical center's and service's mission and goals.

The above responsibilities interplay in the section chiefs' responsibility for achieving quality patient care. The section chiefs provides service consisting of the diagnosis, care and treatment of patients consulted through their sections, and as attending for medicine; furnishes medical treatment, consultation and diagnosis upon request from other services; and supervise fellows in their sections to do the same. • You will provide rapid and effective response to requests and directives pertaining to plans, programs, policies, procedures, objectives, operations, reviews, and reports pertaining to the mission.
• You will respond to to near-term requirements impacting Operations policies and programs, conducts short-term analysis, oversees projects, and coordinates staff actions which cross normal staff boundaries as assigned by the Director.
• You will respond to external requests for information from the Department of the Navy, Congress, and Department of Defense by providing briefings, information papers, and analytical planning documents.
• You will direct the implementation of new programs and plans to ensure that the organization is in compliance with higher policy and guidance.

• You will direct, plan, manage and coordinate DPTMS programs and resources.
• You will draft and prepare executive correspondence and reports to higher headquarters, subordinate and serviced activities.
• You will execute the military training program in support of garrison.
• You will administer the Army military personnel testing program; manages training ammunition; and provides training aid support to all active and reserve component personnel.
• You will develop and execute all contingency plans necessary for rapid reaction to domestic emergencies, acts of terrorism, and natural disasters associated with earthquakes and weather phenomena.
• You will coordinate installation plans with all major tenant units, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and state and local emergency management agencies.
• You will direct the garrison's personnel security, intelligence and counterintelligence programs.
• You will manage and controls the programs and operations through more than two lines of supervision.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Value Team Architect works closely with Product Line Leads, Product Managers and all squad members to create a modular, scalable solution that addresses/incorporates future architectural changes and designs.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with the Value Team Lead, Product Line Leads, Product Managers and Lead Engineers you will work on the following:

• Understand
  supply chain domain business use cases, opportunities and challenges
  current industry technology trends and introduce best practices to Value Team
• Create
  architecture deliverables and artifacts relevant for accountable architecture domain(s)
• Drive
  the technology strategy for the Value Team that aligns with the business needs and enterprise architecture strategy
  the notion of reusable architecture assets & standards such as current-state business/technology capability maps as well as future state planning roadmaps for the Value Team.
  Tech Center strategy for Digital Supply Chain organization by boosting collaboration within Singapore and across all locations in Technology Center network
  Our workforce pipeline in Value Team by leveraging company programs to onboard, mentor and upskill the leaders of the future in Technology Centers
• Partner with
  product teams to use agile, value-centric, business outcomes-oriented, and total cost of ownership-based principles to guide decision making
  product line solution architects to develop a documented business, solution, information, and data architecture for supply chain
  architecture community and leaders across the Value and Enabling Teams in the division focusing on data and analytics, manufacturing and quality systems
  Enterprise Architecture team to drive the adoption of company architecture standards and blueprints
• Manage
  Architecture Governance within the Value Team
• Train and mentor
  technical delivery teams to understand, embrace, and successfully implement solutions following the architecture strategy

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

Education

• B.A./B.S. or M.A./M.S. in a scientific or technical discipline (such as computer science, engineering, biology, chemistry, etc.)

Required Experience and Skills

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical/life sciences or similar industry, with demonstrated hands-on experience in solution architecture and information system designs
• 10+ years of experience in leading development squads/ teams in global environment
• Strong understanding of enterprise, solution and information architecture principles
• Domain knowledge of technology for supply chain management including data and analytics platforms, ERP solutions, supply chain planning, warehousing, distribution and logistics
• Experience in working closely with a range of business lines to identify business needs and opportunities
• Experience with Agile ways of working, leading or working as part of scrum teams
• Experience as a change agent of transformation to product model organization/ operating model
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish productive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
• Ability to perform under broad direction taking initiative and full responsibility for meeting allocated technical and/or project/supervisory objectives

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Demonstrated ability to solve problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation
• Knowledge of current cloud trends and offerings, and extensive hands-on experience and strong expertise in cloud engineering
• Certifications in AWS and/or modern data technologies
