Job Overview:
We are looking for individuals with a bachelor’s degree in music to join our team as a Music Program Director. The music programs will take place at various locations across Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing these programs, ensuring that they align with our artistic and educational goals, with a focus on musical expertise and teaching quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Music Program Design and Course Development
• Design and plan music programs at various levels and styles, including classical, pop, jazz, etc., ensuring a wide range of music genres that meet the diverse needs of participants.
• Develop high-quality teaching syllabi and music learning courses based on best practices in music education, ensuring depth and professionalism in the curriculum.
2. Management and Supervision of Music Teachers and Performing Artists
• Recruit and manage highly qualified music teachers, instructors, and professional musicians, ensuring they have a solid music background and teaching capability.
• Regularly communicate with teachers and musicians, offering professional support on music teaching techniques and performance skills, helping them enhance teaching effectiveness and performance quality.
3. Content Quality Control and Innovation
• Ensure all music program content maintains a high artistic standard, providing challenging and educationally sound programs.
• Track global trends in music education and performance, regularly updating and optimizing the curriculum to stay innovative and cutting-edge.
4. Rehearsal and Performance Management
• Oversee the music rehearsal and performance process, ensuring that rehearsal content aligns with music education goals.
• Coordinate and organize student performances and showcases, ensuring professional standards and providing students with ample performance opportunities.
5. Professional Music Assessment and Feedback Mechanism
• Develop a systematic music skill assessment mechanism to help students understand their progress and continuously improve their musical abilities.
• Provide personalized feedback and recommendations based on students’ musical performance and progress, ensuring they receive professional guidance.
6. Professional Music Resource Management and Venue Coordination
• Manage and allocate professional music instruments, equipment, and resources to ensure smooth execution of various music programs.
• Coordinate with different venues to ensure that facilities and sound systems meet the standards for professional music performances.
7. External Collaboration and Professional Exchange
• Build partnerships with local and international music institutions, orchestras, and performance venues to expand learning and performance opportunities for students.
• Participate in professional exchanges and conferences related to music education to ensure that programs align with international standards.
Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in music is required.
• Strong foundational knowledge of music and a deep understanding of music education, with the ability to recognize and promote high-quality teaching and performances.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage different venues and teams effectively.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position, with music programs taking place at various locations throughout Singapore. The monthly salary is between SGD 5,000 to 5,500, and we provide training and support for new hires.
