What you will accomplish

You are someone who has

o    Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is desired but not mandatory

o    5+ years of relevant industry experience with successful and progressive track record of accomplishment, leadership and increasing responsibility

o    Strong product background in optical fiber communications

o    Proven experience of driving new product introduction into customer accounts

o    Proven experience of growing a product business in a competitive environment

The Head of Taxonomy and Delivery manages multiple teams of senior professionals through other senior managers. Responsibilities:

·         Sets challenging productivity goals and works closely with senior management and their teams to ensure these goals are met. Partner with Business, Function or Region leaders to optimize business models, simplify organizational structures, and create industrial-strength franchise processes, all while building capabilities and driving sustainable improvements in real productivity across the business value chain. Look to embed capabilities and continuous improvement relating to productivity to become part of the management framework across the company. Responsible for partnering with businesses on designing and implementing several large-scale productivity efforts to achieve meaningful improvements in productivity and efficiency, improve the company’s risk and controls, as well as create a more dynamic and engaging client experience.

Qualifications:

·         15+ years’ experience

·         Financial services and transformation experience (direct or consulting firm), with significant recent experience of driving large scale global transformation assignments for senior levels of a financial services organization.

·         Specialized financial and/or re-engineering certifications. Significant experience (direct or consulting) directly relatable to Citi’s businesses.

·         Demonstrated ability in driving multiple simultaneous large-scale productivity or transformation efforts across a global financial institution(s) or multi-national corporation.

·         People leadership capabilities beyond direct and matrix resource management, to managing large 15+ person teams of remote business/function/in-country resources who do not directly report to the leader on an engagement.

·         Proven change agent with exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in driving transformations, fostering collaboration, and resolving conflicts.

·         Significant communication experience with executive constituents; presentation, facilitation, oral, written, listening skills and proven track record of conflict resolution. Demonstrated thought leadership in financial analysis, organizational strategy, process re-engineering (six sigma, Agile, Lean, etc.) and other transformation capabilities. Ability to quickly grasp and assimilate complex information throughout multiple business units and make or influence rapid fact-based decisions.

·         Demonstrated ability to lead an organization through a complex transformation and resolved significant corporate conflicts.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Contracts, the Contracts Manager ensures the applicability of contractual commitments, identifies financial and contractual risks, and participates in the negotiation of contractual clauses.
 

During the project phase, the Contracts Manager supports the Project Manager, guarantees strict compliance with contractual commitments through to their completion, reports on potential issues, proposes actions to minimize risks, looks for opportunities and, when necessary, compiles pre-litigation documents

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Draft, structure, implement and manage contractual documents based on internal processes in order to establish and maintain a good business relationships with customers; Participate in the preparation of bids and proposals packages following internal processes, from bid-no-bid decision to contract implementation and management; Participate in the negotiation of price, delivery, and terms and conditions with customers.
• Prepare contractual memos for internal gate approval processes; Interpret and communicate the extent of applicability of various contractual provisions to internal project execution teams.
• Liaise with Procurement, Finance and other departments to ensure the adequate flow-down of prime contract terms and conditions to suppliers and subcontractors; Establish and maintain solid working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Report on risks, issues, successes and failures to the Legal and Contracts Director, and through internal cyclical reviews; Monitor risks, escalate issues and propose action plans or solutions.
• Implement and promote best practices and compliance policies in accordance with Thales Group guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of five years of experience working in business support function, including but not limited to Procurement, Legal, Finance, Contracts Management, etc. Experience managing or supporting large-scale complex contracts, with working knowledge of government procurement policies and procedures.

• University Degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize contractual and commercial risks and issues and an ability to negotiate effectively.

• Experience managing Defence Contracts under the Defence Production Act and Government of Canada procurement processes.

Team/Role Overview

The Cash Reconciliations team manage the reconciliation of incoming and outbound Issuer Services Payments over a number of different reconciliation platforms where we offer Depository servicing, Issuing & Paying agency services and Specialized Agency functions such as Account Bank, Project Finance, Structured Finance and Escrow Agent functions.

Any exceptions identified as part of the reconciliation process are required to be investigated / categorised and reported in accordance with Citi’s standard protocols. The team is responsible for identifying exceptions and actively investigating to resolution.

What you’ll do

The Section Manager is a senior management level position.  You will be responsible for managing risk by overseeing cash reconciliations and exception management process.  You will also lead the regional team, collaborating with colleagues in other regions and working with technology to incorporate enhancements and recommend/drive operational change and improvements. You will also:

• Review cash exceptions daily to ensure team is appropriately raising and resolving
• Identify, lead and mitigate operational risks and raise risk /services issues on a timely basis
• Provide detailed analysis of escalated issues when necessary and recommend actions for resolution
• Contribute to processing standards and expectations for securities and derivatives processing teams
• Develop and implement business plans, policies, and procedures that offer solutions and cost saving opportunities
• Propose solutions to implement settlement process improvements, enhancements, or overall technology enhancements
• Coordinate with internal and external clients to assess service quality and identify areas for improvement

What we’ll need from you

• Reconciliation experience
• Financial Services experience. Payments or documentation review experience would be of benefit.
• Ideally from an Operations background with a broad understanding of banking operations and securities.
• Knowledge of Agency and Trust Operations would be advantageous
• Strong investigative and analytical skills.
• A strong understanding of Operational Risk related functions and processes – payments experience.
• Proven ability to execute
• Excellent people management and leadership skills with team building capabilities
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills; ability to build and maintain effective networks and relationships.
• Proven ability to coach and develop talent

Team/Role Overview

Your team will be accountable and responsible for operational oversight of the closing and servicing of all loan transactions of the business division being supported to ensure all internal and external requirements are met.

What you’ll do

The Transaction Manager is responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the lending lifecycle including but not limited to loan closing and servicing coordination, facilitating complex client onboarding, data management, and quality control. 

• Contribute to the team to support loan origination and lifecycle management which includes large complex syndicated and bilateral loans covering but not limited to corporate, commercial and real estate.

• Assist with the creation of processes, standards, procedures, controls, training, and implementation of transaction management.

• Partner with each of the originating and coverage business lines, credit risk, operations, legal, etc.

• Work with lines of business, transaction management, and loan operations to define and implement operational metrics and risk and control reviews to ensure all stakeholders have end to end transparency.

• Accuracy and ability to identify issues/roadblocks and ability to propose and drive solutions in conjunction with the team.

• Actively manage and maintain a deal closing pipeline of loan transactions.

• Coordinate and close loan transactions/lifecycle events, capture data, store documentation, troubleshoot issues/roadblocks, perform quality control

What we’ll need from you

• Experience with lending systems, transaction capture tools, etc

• Understanding and awareness of appropriate corporate and regulatory policies in relation to Lending

• Focus on achieving/exceeding key operating standards within a KPI/metrics driven culture

• Experience within a large global team supporting wholesale lending at large financial Institution

• Understanding of end to end operational processes supporting Wholesale lending

• Knowledge of wholesale loan (syndicated / bilateral) product and business, including an understanding of legal loan documentation, loan / funding mechanics, deal structure, funds flows, etc.

About You

We are looking for a Project Manager based in Milton, Queensland, for our Queens Wharf Brisbane project. This is a 12-month fixed-term role and reports to the Operations Manager for New Equipment (NE) and Modernization (MOD).

In this role, you will be key in managing and administering Otis NE & Mod contracts according to Otis’s ‘Sales Installation Process’ (SIP).

As a Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include

• Manage and Administer Otis NE & Mod contracts according to the Otis’ ‘Sales Installation Process’ (SIP).

Trade (“Trade”), is part of the industry leading Services (“SVCS”) division of Citi.  Export and Agency Finance (“EAF”) is a product segment within Trade and under this scope, Citi arranges short-, medium- and long-term structured financing solutions, supported by export credit agencies, development finance institutions and multilateral agencies (together the “Official Agencies”).

Citi operates as a global platform to originate, lead, arrange, participate and syndicate bespoke structured financings that manage risk through credit and political risk support from sovereign agencies and/or accessing their funding programs.

The selected candidate, reporting to the EAF Japan Cluster Head, will have the responsibility to lead origination and execution in collaboration with EAF Sales colleagues globally, through the whole life cycle of deals from mandate, structuring and approvals through to client negotiation and execution, mainly focused on Japanese Government Agencies such as JBIC, NEXI and JICA. The candidate is expected to be able to act with a level of autonomy (depending on the position offered) in both execution and working with the client coverage organization to seek out and pitch for new opportunities, especially those transactions where Official Agency support can be used to the benefit of Citi’s clients.

This position is a senior leadership position within EAF Japan if the position is offered as SVP, with an expectation to support the Cluster Head in driving strategic initiatives as senior transactor.

Key Responsibilities:
