Mission Sustainment Specialist

As a Mission Sustainment Specialist, you’ll bring your technical background to collaborate with leaders in Range and Training Area Management on projects for Joint and Bilateral training. You’ll use your skills as you analyze, assess, and communicate critical, real-time information for the DoD and Host Nation training.

You Have:
- 3+ years of experience supporting operationalizing mission sustainment within training range boundaries, including relevant airfields, installations, and training areas such as ground, maritime, and air through application of air traffic, airspace, and range management principles
- 3+ years of experience in mission sustainment assessment input and reporting via relevant systems, including Mission Compatibility Analysis Tool (MCAT), All Partners Access Network (APAN), and Geographical Information System (ArcGIS)
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration Obstruction Evaluation and Airport Airspace Analysis (OE/AAA) program and processes
- Knowledge of encroachment effects on airport aeronautics, security, and safety of flight
- Ability to analyze risks to joint aviation missions against identified encroachment areas, including airspace, land and sea restrictions, airborne noise, urban growth, frequency spectrum, environment, cultural resources, unexploded ordnance, energy, security and safety, natural factors and climate effects, tacit farming, munitions, and installation exclusive use
- Ability to collect data and conduct research and analysis utilizing airport obstruction evaluation methods and tools
- Ability to prepare determinations on the impact of local activities, including construction, small unmanned aerial systems, civil flights, balloons, and fireworks
Secret clearance

- Ability to provide data management, visualization, and analytics expertise to improve joint mission sustainment and regional encroachment impacts and mitigation
- Ability to collaborate with organizations to develop automated evaluation and determination processes
- Ability to inform determinations and plans by analyzing, tracking, and maintaining encroachment data in appropriate systems
- Ability to coordinate, integrate, and collaborate with forces and host-nation representatives to facilitate the exchange of data, analysis, and information in support of joint development of sustainment communication and engagement strategies, information programs, support to public diplomacy, and public information programs directed at select host-nation target audiences
- Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
