Tennis Manager
Supa Athletics Tennis Academy is looking for a Tennis Academy Manager.
SUPA Athletics aims to raise awareness, promote a healthy lifestyle and create vibrant community in which our clients can achieve desired health and fitness.
Position Overview:
Responsibilities
– Oversee the day-to-day operations of Supa Athletics, including scheduling, staff management, managing coaches’ meetings, and program development plans.
– Manage employees and staff, ensuring optimal team performance and efficiency.
– Oversee the operations of Supa Athletics tennis programs.
– Developing and managing Singapore school's team tennis program.
– Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all players during lessons, clinics, and events.
– Develop and implement a successful junior program, including 10-and-under programs and a pathway for juniors to play collegiate tennis.
– Develop and carry out a marketing plan to acquire new leads.
– Provide high-quality private and group tennis lessons for players of all ages and abilities.
– Organize and lead tennis clinics, camps, and special events.
– Develop lesson plans and customized training programs to help students improve their skills and achieve their goals.
– Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere in our academy for all clients.
– Promote tournaments, events, clinics, tennis programs and to encourage client participation.
– Creating a strategic plan to acquire local schools and tennis venues.
– Writing monthly business operations report.
Management Experience:
– Prior experience in tennis programs and facility management is a plus.
– Leadership or management experience in a club or sports facility.
– Experience coaching competitive tennis players.
– Experience in organizing and managing tennis programs, clinics, workshops, and tournaments.
– Managing large groups.
– Experience in managing school tennis team programs.
– Experience in developing tennis programs and overseeing them.
– Knowledge of safety measures and their implementation into tennis programs.
– Knowledge of tennis equipment maintenance and racquet stringing.
– Organizational, time management and problem solving skills.

Qualifications – Certification:
USPTA, ITF or PTR Certification (required), NROC (required) MOE Instructor Registration or other certificates are a plus.
– Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience as a tennis pro or instructor.
– Skills: Strong knowledge of problem solving, time management, organizational and managing groups of people, tennis techniques, strategies, and player development.
– Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication and leadership skills.
– Current CPR/AED qualifications
– Flexibility: Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
– Desire for continuing education training.
