As we grow, we are looking for an experienced and driven leader to drive growth through strategic marketing, lead generation, and conversion.
Role Overview
The Head of Growth will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, demand generation, and lead conversion. This role will focus on creating and executing strategies that build awareness, increase customer acquisition, and maximize lead conversion. You will lead a team across online and offline marketing channels, work closely with the operations and revenue teams, and be directly accountable for the growth funnel from initial lead generation to conversion.
Reponsibilties
Growth Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy for BabyMD, focusing on increasing patient acquisition and maximising conversion rates.
- Drive demand generation through both offline (events, partnerships, and community engagement) and online (digital marketing, content marketing, seo and social media) channels.
- Set and achieve ambitious growth targets across lead generation and conversion metrics, contributing directly to company revenue goals.
Online Marketing (Digital Channels)
- Oversee digital marketing strategies, including performance marketing (Google Ads, social media, display), SEO, and email marketing, to generate high-quality leads.
- Develop and execute community development initiatives, building an engaged online community of parents, caregivers, and pediatric experts.
- Lead influencer marketing strategies to expand BabyMD’s reach through partnerships with trusted voices in the parenting, pediatric, and healthcare communities.
- Manage and optimize the online customer acquisition funnel, ensuring effective lead nurturing and high conversion rates.
- Work with the content team to create messaging that resonates with BabyMD’s target audience, ensuring brand consistency and engagement across all digital channels.
Offline Marketing (Community Engagement and Partnerships)
- Lead offline marketing efforts, including events, workshops, and partnerships with community organisations, to drive awareness and lead generation at the local level.
- Develop strategic partnerships with doctors and healthcare providers to establish doctor-based acquisition channels and generate referrals.
- Build partnerships with local businesses, schools, RWAs and community centres to increase BabyMD’s visibility and create new lead generation channels.
- Build brand trust within local communities by tailoring campaigns that speak to BabyMD’s commitment to pediatric care and family support.
Lead Conversion
- Work with Inside Sales manager & oversee Inside Sales team to focus on lead conversion, ensuring that leads generated by marketing activities are effectively followed up on and nurtured
- Develop and implement strategies for cross-selling and up-selling additional services to BabyMD’s existing patient base, increasing Average Order Value (AOV) and Lifetime Value (LTV).
- Design scripts, follow-up strategies, and other resources for the inside sales team to optimise both lead conversion and patient retention.
- Create systems for tracking, analysing, and improving lead conversion, cross-selling, and up-selling metrics, adjusting strategies based on data insights.
- Designing & executing customised CLM to drive customer engagement & conversion
Collaboration with Operations and Revenue Teams
- Partner closely with the revenue and operations teams to align marketing efforts with service offerings and operational capacity.
- Provide insights and feedback on marketing performance and customer preferences to support the development of new services and improvements in patient experience.
Key Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or a similar role with a focus on lead generation and conversion, preferably in the healthcare or service industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful growth strategies that drive customer acquisition and conversion.
- Strong experience with digital marketing channels (Google Ads, social media, content marketing, email marketing) and offline channels (events, partnerships, doctor acquisition).
- Experience with influencer marketing and community-building initiatives.
- Data-driven and analytical mindset with experience in using tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience managing and leading a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, ownership driven person with an ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
