What you’ll be doing as a Senior Project Manager

- You’ll be a client-side Senior Project Manager responsible for the investment from initial design through construction and completion.

- You have responsibility for delivering a safe service to the customer base in your area, by driving a culture of continuous improvement and best practice within the team.
- Health and safety is at the centre of everything we do and as such you will be responsible for implementing this with your site and team.

What you should bring to the role

- We are looking for a proven manager, ideally someone who has process or operational management experience with strong skills in engineering, finance, H&S and stakeholder engagement.
- You will need excellent people and performance management skills to support and drive a team of mixed skills and abilities.
- A strong health and safety and customer-based ethics.
- Excellent organisational and risk management skills are also needed. Good interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal are essential for the role. Strong computer skills are also desirable. A valid driving licence is required in order to travel to different sites.

What you’ll be doing as an Agricultural Recycling Manager

- Manage and develop a geographically dispersed technical team, ensuring the delivery of performance targets and objectives for the team.
- Responsible for safely and efficiently recycling sewage sludge for our customers in agriculture within a given geographical area.
- Developing, liaising with, and building relationships with farmers, land owners, agronomists, agents, and others in rural communities to maintain and build the company's reputation and credibility, thus promoting the beneficial use of sewage sludge as a fertiliser replacement.
- Liaising with Environmental Health Officers, Environment Agency Officers, and local communities to ensure that the recycling operations have a minimum impact on the environment and the public.

- Manage and monitor the contract and the contractors in a defined area, promoting a robust, challenging and effective business relationship.
- Responsible for monitoring the contractor's Health and Safety performance of agricultural operations in a defined area.
- Source land for recycling biosolids, building and maintaining a land bank to sustain the company's recycling requirement for now and the future.
- Management of the sales process, which includes fertiliser advice, pricing and availability, land suitability, soil sampling, risk assessment of land to be spread and stockpiled site, site-specific contractor liaison, order entry and permit production via TDS (land application management software) and the timing of operations and the signing off order before invoicing.
- Developing and reassessing procedures and work methods to increase working and financial performance.

This is a field-based role, covering the Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire area.
36 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

This role does require a driver's licence as you will be provided with a work van.

What you should bring to the role

- An agricultural background with a good knowledge of rural practice is essential, preferably with sales experience in a similar field such as Biosolid Management.
- You must confidently talk to farmers, agronomists, and contractors.
- Sales experience would be an advantage within this role.
- You must be organised, flexible, responsive to change, and able to manage your own time.

About the role



We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our friendly team. This is an office based full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 9.00 – 18.00. However, there is a requirement to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business.



As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of the LiftCo contract. Implementing and managing Service Improvement Initiatives within the London & Wolverhampton LiftCo contract ensuring that the service is delivered in accordance with all contracted standards & legislation, company policies and procedures such that all company employees, contractors and visitors comply with all relevant Health and Safety legislation and site policies and procedures. Support the PFI Contracts Director in the improvement of the delivery of the services such that all aspects of the service delivery are continually monitored, measured and reviewed to ensure that the contract exceeds the operational profit and loss (P & L) budget and financial targets within the company business plan.

Rebuilding and management and monitoring of the Supply Chain, including working with Central procurement.
Support the recruitment, induction and employment of operatives
Support the on-going training programme to provide all technical and safety training as and when required for all colleagues.
Through audit, inspection and implementation of remedial works and or actions to ensure that the contract locations are compliant with contractual obligations.
Ensure the emergency procedures are current at all times and that all staff and contractors are aware of them and a robust evacuation plan is in place and regularly tested.
Exercise appropriate governance over use of systems to ensure complete data integrity for service delivery and transparency.
Complete monthly performance audits and reports.
Support monthly service reviews with FM team leaders and relevant facilities management sub-contractors.




THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

BIFM (British Institution of Facilities Management) Level 3-4
ILM (The Institute of Leadership & Management) Level 2-3
Advanced use of Excel applications and Google suite
Experience in a similar role or environment.
Thorough understanding of FM Services facilities management methods, systems and safety requirements. .
Experience of identifying and implementing innovative cost effective solutions to operational problems.
Effective financial management skills.

You must be able to effectively manage contracts from inception to completion. This role presents an excellent prospect for a proactive individual to take responsibility for providing all core Contract and Project Management services on several interesting projects, for a wide range of clients.

What you'll need to succeed:
You will have managed a variety of construction and refurbishment projects from pre-start through to completion, leading teams, hiring and managing subcontractors, using your skills and experience to lead on projects to complete on time and budget. You will also be responsible for new business, sourcing and preparing tenders, meeting clients, undertaking quotation surveys.

Primary Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Pre-Contract Tendering & Procurement/Pre-Site:
Tender preparation and submission, site/scoping site visits, client quotations, attend pre-contract meetings, create programme of works, create construction phase plan, prepare risk assessments and method statements, ordering of materials and allocation of labour, including sourcing sub-contractors.

Live Projects:
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Co-ordination of resources, develop detailed project plans to track progress and oversee all trades, client/contractor/consultant liaison, regular site progress visits and meeting attendance, progression meetings, updating construction programme, manage client changes, review and authorisation of contractor variations, create and maintain project and health & Safety documentation, deliver site based inductions, tool box talks and general briefings.

Post Contract/Completion:
Closing out snags and any additional works required by the client, client & contractor liaison, contractor reviews, process/procedure review.

What you’ll need:
• 5+ Years Experience in the role
• SSTS/SMTS, First Aid, CSCS
• Proven track record in construction, fit out and refurb project management
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience
• Tender preparation and submission experience
• Ability to lead and make decisions
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and to work under pressure
