• Operates semi-automatic wet and dry chemical filling machine to fill various size Sentry extinguishers, including stored pressure models with various types of the chemical agents and FE 36. Task involves setting timers and adjusting filling cycles according to chemical agent variation.  Weights the filled extinguishers and assures proper weight according to UL specifications.
• Wipes excess dry chemical from extinguisher; attaches visual seals, adds component parts as required by production order including extra labels. Operator stamps packages with lot number, part number, and other applicable stamps. Check packages and places extinguishers on a pallet keeping a record of the number and type of extinguishers packaged. Task includes operating overhead hoist for handling large extinguishers. Operator does final inspection on product prior to releasing for shipment. Occasionally prepares cartons for shipping.

South & Western General Agency seeks an Entry Level Inside Sales Specialist in Addison, TX. 

Candidates will be engaged in 24-month training and development program that will prepare the participant to become a superior insurance professional.  The focus of the training program will be to increase new submissions, quotes, binders and premium over the phone.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Conduct 50 of outbound calls a day to appointed retail agents to drive new opportunities in, convert leads into submissions and turn quotes into bind orders.

• Make outbound phone calls on all quotes to cross sell products, communicate coverages and selling points to assist converting quotes into binders.

• Act as a liaison between markets and customers to negotiate favorable insurance quotes quickly and efficiently, and cross-sell additional coverages.

• Weekly reporting of sales calls and results is expected.

• Educate customers on quoting platforms and services.

• Contribute to other outbound marketing efforts including social media, webinars and email blasts.

o   Produce more effective email blast campaigns with the best, most relevant content to the right customer audience.  Responsible for monthly email blasts

o   Contribute ideas for weekly social media posts.

o   Conduct a monthly webinar.

o   Help coordinate customer events and contests as appropriate.

• Drive daily submissions goals and relay information to marketing team to maximize opportunities.

• Respond to customer emails and phone calls in compliance within service standards.

• Review web and phone quoting activity to spot trends positive and negative and address trends with customers and team.

• Establish an active relationship with Regional Sales Manager and regularly discuss strategy and tactics including training, sales issues and follow up.

• Pursue continuing education and insurance designations/licenses as outlined in the training and development plan. This will require self-study.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• College degree OR equivalent business experience

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Motivated, results-driven sales personality

• Open to coaching and continuous improvement

• P&C license or commitment to obtain P&C license within 60 days

Preferred:

• Previous experience in a business, sales or financial related discipline

• Bilingual
