Freshwater East Kimberley Apartments, Kununurra's newest 4.5 star accommodation is seeking to appoint 2 Hotel Receptionistss on a Full Time basis.
This opportunity is based in Kununurra, the gateway to the East Kimberley, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, rock formations, and waterways. This established town has major supermarket, restaurants, primary and secondary schools, Tafe, medical centres and hospital and an outdoor drive-in theatre.
About the role
Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
• Responsible for assisting with inquiries, including verbal, telephonic and electronic
• Administrate all reservations, including cancellations and modifications.
• Greeting guests and welcoming visitors, assisting guest check-ins and check-outs
• Guest services i.e. aAdvice on local tours, general information to guests, problem solving, managing complaints and feedback
• Inventory management/ allocation of rooms to meet the needs of a diverse range of guests.
• Lost property – contact guest and arrange return
• Assisting with airport transfers for guests
• Responsible for the opening and closing duties of the reception desk
• General Reception cleaning
• Administrative tasks, including filing, data entry and reporting
• Provide support to Housekeeping team as required
About You
• Ability to be flexible with work hours and shifts. Some weekend work will be required
• Minimum 1 year work experience as a Hotel Receptionist or equivalent.
• Possess a high level of communication skills with the ability to interact in a friend and professional manner.
• Possess clear and well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle competing priorities and work autonomously.
• A high level of computer literacy with experience in reservations/room management and scheduling advantageous.
• Computer literacy, with experience in reservations/ room management and scheduling preferred
• Hold a current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
