Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Technician in the Vehicles Department!

Job: Mechanical Manufacturing Technician
Hours: 4 day week Monday-Thursday / 37 hours per week
Due to demand we’re looking for experienced Technicians to join our OME division - You will work closely with existing team members, Work Cell Manager and Manufacturing Engineers in delivering the outputs from the relevant work cell as per the business requirements. With experience in mechanical assemblies you’ll be performing manufacturing tasks in accordance with engineering drawings to the required quality.

The role is based out of our Glasgow manufacturing site. You will work a 4 day week Monday to Thursday and work 9.25 hours per day. Start time is flexible between 6:00am and 7:30am and you get 30 minutes unpaid for lunch. There is also free on-site parking and an on-site canteen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute manufacturing operations with precision and adherence to ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Build and test opto-mechanical and electrical systems, focusing on vehicle production
- Conduct assembly, alignment, fault finding, and testing of vehicle systems
- Work in a class 6 cleanroom environment with complex electro-optical equipment.
- Collaborate with the team to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an Industrial/Engineering environment is essential.
- Ability to interpret mechanical, optical, and electrical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic PC skills required.
