Guy’s and St Thomas’ Medicines Information (MI) department, based at Guy’s Hospital, is one of the busiest in the country and employs approximately 20 staff (including Clinical Governance and Formulary). Clinical Enquiry Answering

Provide clinical medicines advice to a range of healthcare professionals. This involves:
• Receiving and recording complex questions frequently related to patient care, clarifying the clinical problem to be addressed.

Overview of key responsibilities: Responsible for the provision of complex analysis to Service Improvement Managers, Clinical staff, senior managers, and other Trust staff, providing detailed interpretation and recommendations relating to the analysis. Provide advice and guidance on the interpretation of complex information reports Undertake data analysis including trend analysis with a strong focus on measurement for improvement. Scrutinise data and information sources across Moorfields in relation to the Service Improvement and Sustainability Programme and identify root cause of variances, trends, discrepancies or gaps Communicate analytical/statistical findings for a wide range of audiences, including nonanalytical professionals. Responsible for sourcing and manipulation of relevant datasets from internal/external systems as required to meet Programme requirements. Create interactive analyses, dashboards and KPI monitoring to present and report performance and other highly complex information, adjusting presentational styles to meet the requirements of different audiences. Ensure that all business information made available to users, is of a consistent standard and has full regard for issues of patient confidentiality and business sensitivity. Responsible for development and iteration of data models as required to inform effective management decision making. To use effective communication and questioning in order to understand the full scope of the information required. Communicate analytical/statistical information, advising of known issues and offering guidance on concepts used to aid understanding. To effectively communicate with line manager all pertinent issues arising in order to keep them informed of workload, the direction of travel and to receive feedback/support. Establish and maintain good communication with end users included interpreting requests for new work, validating outputs and seeking advice if the context or purpose is unclear To produce and maintain appropriate documentation for all development activities, datasets and structures. To work in conjunction with the central Performance and Information team, to keep abreast of dataset/reporting changes, sharing ideas and knowledge in order to inform best practice. I am working with a PE-backed acquisitive technology company based in central London, hiring a newly qualified Big 4 ACA to join as a Senior Accountant, paying circa £55-65k + great benefits. The business is focused on being a data-driven software platform supporting profitability to help businesses make better decisions. Your new role
As a Senior Accountant, you will report to the Financial Controller and will work in a finance team of seven. You will have the support of working alongside four more senior Big 4 ACA's who are keen to support and motivate you as you take this first move into the industry. Having made a similar move to you, they will be great mentors and colleagues who you can learn from. Key duties include but not limited to:

• Financial Reporting
• Group consolidations
• Prepare and implement technical accounting matter under IFRS
• Supporting external audits
• Ad hoc project work

What you'll need to succeed

• Big 4 ACA newly qualified
• Audit background
• IFRS or US GAAP
• Able to build trusted relationships.
