As a part of new Marine Power Parts and Field Services organization you will be part of the journey of establishing and driving the development of the Business Unit. In this position you are reporting to Director, Region Middle East Asia and the preferred location of the position is in Singapore.
Your main responsibilities are:
• Monitoring, leading and developing and maintaining FS competence and resource optimization according to the market and business requirements and demands.
• Securing the delivery of the right skill at the right place and at the right time.
• Securing the job is done first time right.
• Job performance to ensure best customer experience.
• Ensure the implementation of the processes and tools according to business as ensuring safety for the personnel, Quality of work and that safety and environmental guidelines are followed.
• Promote Operational Excellence in the processes to improve the customer experience and customer value.
• Ensure the teams are structured to ensure smooth decision making, priorities, target setting and simplicity.
• Ensure close collaboration with key internal stakeholder such as sales, project management, OE and QEHSS.
• As part of the Region Management Team, you take a proactive and active role in developing the Business, ensuring no surprises and informed decision making to ensure success of the Business.
• Ensure on time and accurate reporting.
Main requirements in this role are:
• A bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or a related field in management or business is required.
• 10+ years of experience in managerial positions in Services' delivery functions and excellent understanding of the FS processes for Resources
• Leadership and people management skill
• The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the local markets in Japan, Singapore, and Korea. Familiarity with cultural differences, business practices, and legal requirements in these countries would be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of financials of the Wärtsilä Field Services business
