Qualifications:
• Experience: Prior experience as a butcher or meat cutter is required. Experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
• Skills: Strong knife handling skills and knowledge of meat cutting techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge: Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Physical Requirements: Able to stand for extended periods, lift and carry moderately heavy items.
Meat Preparation:
• Skilfully prepare a variety of meat cuts based on customer preferences, including slicing, grinding, and trimming.
• Maintain an appealing display of fresh meat products, ensuring proper rotation and handling.
• Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards during meat handling and preparation.
Food Safety:
• Follow established food safety protocols to ensure the safe handling, storage, and labelling of all meat products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
