Job Expectations

• Collaborate closely with the Assistant Manager to provide courteous and efficient services to guests. Responsively and tactfully address guest complaints, requests, and inquiries.
• Maintain close communication with Concierge, Reception, Bell Counter, and Front Office Cashier regarding guest arrivals and departures.
• Build connections with in-house guests and those on extended stays, offering assistance as needed.
• Conduct courtesy calls to guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
• Stay well-informed and updated on all tourist-related information.
• Manage and maintain stock of promotional materials for daily operations.
• Approach any additional tasks assigned by superiors diligently and professionally.

Requirements

• Minimum completion of PSLE or its equivalent.
• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.
• Positive attitude with an outgoing personality and good communication skills.
• Those without experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest room, carpet, flooring, wallpapers, furniture and bathrooms daily. Clean and make up rooms and bathrooms according to Hotel’s standards and procedures.
• Keep work environment clean, tidy, neat and maintains cleanliness at corridors, carpets, wall/wallpapers, furniture, guests lift landing areas, pantries and service lift landings all time.
• Conduct duties in courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with hotel and Singapore policies and procedure, ensuring that the highest level of service and communication in maintained.
• Equip trolley with adequate supplies and keeps trolley/pantry neat and tidy at all times.
• Cover laundry duty. Collect and delivery guest laundry, counting soil linen and distribute clean linen.
• Report suspicious persons or actions, DND rooms according to procedures. Report room discrepancy accurately and follow standard procedure.
• Cleaning of public areas within hotel premises; Carry out special project and task such as shampooing of carpets and taking stock

Requirements:

• Able to perform rotating shifts and 6 days work week.
• Able to work under pressure and detail oriented
• Able to converse in Basic English for effective communication between guests and colleagues

• As a leader, nurture a high-performance culture within the Front Office department.

• Collaborate with Security to ensure efficient surveillance of the property and proper reporting/ follow-up of incidents.
• Be updated on the trends, evolving guests’ expectations, and changing needs relating to accommodations, services, and facilities.
• Identifying and implementing ways on how to improve organisational effectiveness.
• Ensuring maximum utilisation of rooms to boost the revenue for the organisation.

• O-Levels or equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ of relevant experience in hotel operations and management.
• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.
• A team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills, positive attitude, enthusiasm, and initiative.
• Knowledge in Opera System.
• Able to lead the team and drive results.

Responsibilities

The Front Office Manager assists the Hotel Manager/Room Division Manager in the overall administration and operation of the Front Office department. The Front Office Manager is primarily responsible for providing leadership, supervision, direction for Front Office department in accordance with the Objectives and Quality Standards established by The Clan Hotel; while driving the business to achieve its maximum potential financially and operationally.

• Responsible for the effective, efficient, and profitable functioning of the Front Office department.
• Prepares the short-term and long-term department strategies for onward planning, budgeting, and forecasting together with the Cluster Executive Committee.
• Develops, recommends, and advises the Hotel Manager/Room Division Manager on potential areas for opportunities in pertinence to processes and strategies within the Hotel.
• Champions and guides Front Office department in upholding all aspects of the Brand Experience for The Clan Hotel, ensuring all brand touchpoints are delivered consistently in delivering upon the most memorable experiences for our guests.
• Detailed JD to be discussed during interview.

Requirements

• Diploma in any field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
• Team player with positive attitude, enthusiasm and initiative
• Knowledge in Opera System will be advantageous
