Taco Bell International is looking to become a leader in digital technology and create a digital first restaurant business globally. This leader will be instrumental and defining and leading ecommerce strategy, identifying new and market relevant channels, and defining the omni-channel customer experience. They will also partners with Franchisees and cross-functional leaders to better understand the challenges in the business and how technology can help address those challenges.
The brand encourages its fans to “Live Mas” and connects with them through sports, gaming and new music. In Asia Pacific, the brand operates through 250 restaurants across 13 countries, including the larger markets of India and China and thriving territories including Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. The brand aims to open over 120 new units in 2022 alone, alongside huge digital transaction growth and a thriving marketing calendar.
The Day-to-Day:
· Provide strategic partnership and leadership as a key member of the Taco Bell International Technology Leadership Team, helping shape and define the Taco Bell global technology strategy and approach.
· Engage with the larger Taco Bell Technology Leadership Team to share key technology strategies and innovations across markets including the US business.
· Provide key strategic guidance and support for all other markets within the APAC Business Unit.
· Define, align, and deliver on a technology roadmap that drives simplification, integrates technology through all parts of restaurant execution and customer engagement.
· Create and manage a process to collect and analyze data to continually drive data-driven improvements across the entire restaurant and consumer technology stacks.
· Parther with Marketing and Operations peers to develop strategies to enhance customer and team member engagement through technology.
· Develop the operating model for technology in both mutli and single franchise markets to unlock technology as a scale enabler for the business.
· Responsible for the strategic design and optimised delivery of innovative restaurant technology aimed at improving the CX and operational efficiencies
· Rigorously manage estimates, forecasts, and actuals related to budgets and benefits realizations.
· Establish operational rigor, metrics, reviews and rhythms to ensure system performance, availability, business continuity, and end user satisfaction.
· Proactively collaborate and co-innovate with customers and suppliers to drive owner satisfaction and competitive differentiation.
· Establish strategic supplier relationships, effective contractual negotiations, co-innovation roadmaps, exceptional service level agreements and mutually beneficial outcomes.
· Coach and lead direct reports; specifically leaders of digital technology and restaurant technology. Providing them with a clear strategy, structure and culture to deliver Taco Bell International’s ambitious Digital and Technology plans in the region.
· Responsible for the strategic design and optimized delivery structure. Attract, develop and retain talent, to create a high performing technology organization supporting the region
· Partner closely with Franchise leaders to better understand their business and become a trusted advisor across the markets.

Is This You?
· Bachelors ideally in Engineering or Computer Science
· MBA or MS in Engineering/Computer Science preferred but not a must
· Senior/Executive management experience in the design and implementation of complex systems along with a strong background leading a software development organization.
· Minimum of 10 years Digital and/or Operational experience related to leadership roles.
· Minimum of 10 plus years of progressively increasing experience in the design and implementation of complex IT systems.
· Minimum of 10 years effectively leading organizations.
· Experience working on consumer-facing organizations with a focus on e-commerce. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning. software, marketing technology, and/or data warehousing a plus.
· Proven leadership ability in leading projects and development organizations in sizeable companies with many business unit and departmental organizations.
· Experience managing multiple projects and/or software development organizations.
· Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on the ability to leverage technology as a business enabler.
· Proven ability to motivate teams, clarify complex situations into simple direction, build consensus, and mediate compromises when necessary.
· Ability to delegate and mentor.
· Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills.
· Demonstrated experience and understanding of technology architecture and infrastructure strategy and design.
· Demonstrated ability to make clear, quick decisions and judgments in time-sensitive, pressure situations.
· Experience in developing vendor partnerships to fill gaps in expertise of the areas of responsibilities associated with this role.
