Senior Executive, Human Resource and Administration
Reporting to the Head of Department, Administrative and the Senior Manager, Human Resource & Administrative, the selected incumbent shall handle the following human resource functions:
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in human resource function as Human Resource Business Partner to support the achievement of the overall business strategy. Supports day-to-day operations that deliver value-add and enhances operational effectiveness and efficiency of the HR function in the following areas:
· Manpower Planning, Employee Relations and Engagement
o Manages employee life cycle (onboarding to offboarding).
o Handles employee relations (grievances, discipline etc).
o Facilitates 2-way communication and feedback collection.
o Provides solution to employees and departments.
· Policies, Procedures and Reporting
o Assists to formulate, review and implement HR policies and procedures to increase efficiency and ensure consistency.
o Ensures alignment of HR policies, tools and processes across the organisation.
o Assists in collating monthly, quarterly or yearly human resource reports.
· Training and Development
o Works with respective departments to understand their training needs.
o Manages the training plan to ensure employees’ trainings are arranged based on budget and training needs.
· HRIS, Projects and Initiatives
o Keeps abreast of HR technological trends to automate and streamline HR processes.
o Identifies improvement projects to increase HR efficiency and effectiveness.
o Drives performance and other process improvements and influences positive changes.
o Partners with business or functional stakeholders to identify and deliver HR solutions.
· Work Pass and Quota Administration
o Manages all work pass and quota administration such as Work permit, S Pass and Employment Passes.
o Assists to manage the expatriate from the day they join till they are transferred back to the Headquarter.
Pre-requisitions:
- Degree in Human Resource Management or any related discipline
- Strong knowledge of Employment laws and HR practices
- Independent and able to demonstrate leadership abilities
- Attention to details and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess strong interpersonal, organizational skills and ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff
- Optimism, positive and able to take on challenges
- Strong business acumen, team player, results-oriented
- Proactive in HR matters
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel such as Vlookup, Pivotable
- Proficient in English and Mandarin in both writing and speaking
- Experience in handling the human resource Unit4 Prosoft System
Relevant Experience:
At least 5 years of Human Resource experience in a generalist role, preferably in the manufacturing Companies.
