Role Overview:
As a Structured Product Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and managing a portfolio of structured financial products. These products may include FX, interest rate and commodity linked financial instruments. Your role involves conducting detailed financial analysis, assessing risk, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis:
Conduct analysis of structured products to assess performance, risk, and potential returns. Conduct alpha research, executing trades & managing risks to maximize returns. Develop price forecast on forward 12 months, based on ground up data from industry sources and financial trading houses.
Risk Management:
Assess and quantify risks associated with structured products. Develop risk models and scenarios to identify potential vulnerabilities and opportunities for risk mitigation.
Monitor risk management of open positions and related exposures with MTM, and risk limits
Market Research:
Stay abreast of global macro market trends, aggregate global market research reports from various reputable sources to produce market outlook reports for various asset classes.
Collaboration:
Work closely with traders, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to provide insights and support decision-making processes. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external distribution partners to ensure a comprehensive understanding of market conditions and the underlying structured products.
Performance Analytics:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze performance. Generate regular reports on the performance of structured products, including key metrics, risk exposures, and recommended actions. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Dealing and Trading:
Develop hedging strategies through structured product solutions by working with clients. Execute trades for hedges for structured products.
Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in Finance, Financial Engineering or a related field.
· Strong understanding of financial markets, derivatives, trading, and investment products.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Professional language proficiency in both English and Chinese is a must.
