JOB SUMMARY

This is a detection engineering role that leverages knowledge of monitoring, analyzing, detecting, and responding to cyber events and incidents to develop and implement effective monitoring and alerting for information systems and networks. This role is responsible for developing and tuning Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and User Entity and Behavior Analytics (UEBA) content to monitor critical IT infrastructure and application logged events to detect cybersecurity and insider threats across the Marriott enterprise. This role produces high-quality documentation pertaining to detection development, monitoring logic, and other content creation tasks. This role will also lead collaboration sessions for security monitoring use case ideation with partners in the cyber security tower and other business units.

Required:

Core Responsibilities

Most Often:

• Lead collaboration sessions within the cyber security tower and other business units to devise security monitoring use cases. This work entails the collection and collaborative analysis of security accreditation reports, threat models, documented security controls, architecture, and business usage patterns for security monitoring consideration.
• Engage and collaborate with other security engineers and architects as needed to keep pace with the evolution of corporate infrastructure and applications and share that knowledge with peers as appropriate.
• Document prospective security monitoring use cases with MITRE ATT&ACK mappings using standard templates and methodologies. Identified use cases will be reviewed with stakeholders for acceptance sign-off and to move forward with development.
• Inform and consult other cyber ops teams of required data onboarding and integrations for use case development.
• Develop analytics, correlation searches, dashboards, reports and alerts within the SIEM and UEBA platforms.
• Solicit feedback for pre-production security monitoring content through peer review process and user acceptance testing for tuning.
• Document developed security monitoring content in a documentation registry using department standard templates and methodologies.
• Manage field mapping and transmission of security monitoring alerts to the security incident response platform for SOC analyst consumption as outlined in process documentation.
• Provide governance support for the content development function entailing content development standards compliance, change management approvals for SIEM or UEBA content, and lifecycle management of developed security monitoring content.

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Payment Solutions Asia Pacific (excl. China) reports to the Senior Director Finance Systems & Shared Services and plays a key leadership role within our finance organization. This position will support the Senior Director focusing on managing hotel credit card payment processes, optimizing payment solutions, and ensuring efficient financial transactions for guests and the organization.

JOB SUMMARY

Lead and manage security architecture and engineering in APEC. Performs security accreditation and evaluates the implementation of those controls in order to grant Approval to Operate for a release of new infrastructure, services, applications and processes into Marriott’s Production Environments in regional level.

Leverages existing Security Engagement processes and documentation, in conjunction with security compliance tools, to determine control implementation status. Will routinely process ITSM Release and Security Engagement Tasks to document justification for all approvals. Will routinely collaborate with multiple teams, including, but not limited to, Business Release Sponsors, Project Managers, Security Architects, Security Architecture Analysts, and

Change Management teams to ensure the Security Processes are followed and completed in order to accredit the engagement or release.

JOB SUMMARY

As a member of the APEC Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning, the Manager, Financial Analysis will play an integral role in providing financial analysis support that enables APEC leadership to make business decisions that drive overall business results and create the most shareholder value. She/he will provide analytical support to Asset Management and Development Asset Management staff, Development and other Regional discipline leaders and other key stakeholders on key valuation issues for the Region including: evaluation of potential new hotel development projects; analyzing profit and growth objectives as reflected in long range plans; and providing return on investment analysis to assess Continent business initiatives.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience including complex data analysis and financial modeling
• Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of technical corporate finance concepts (NPV, IRR, cost of capital)
• Strong spreadsheet skills, word processing, and presentation software skills
• Familiarity with financial concepts in hospitality is a plus (RevPAR, Flow-Thru, Margins)
• Ability to organize and interpret complex, detailed financial information and present analytical results in manner appropriate for senior management decision-making (both orally and in writing, in memos or presentation format)
• Strong financial statement analysis and corporate financial analysis skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, and work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative work environment
• Exceptional communication skills, creating an environment allowing timely information flows throughout the organization

Certifications applicable to the Job (preferred but not required upon entry)

• Baccalaureate degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline , OR
• Professional accounting / CFA qualification
• MBA with a concentration in Finance/Accounting a Plus

• This position will be based at Singapore Regional office.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

• Support the evaluation of potential new hotel development projects, financial analyses and valuations of proposed transactions and presenting to senior executives. Projects will be moderate in scope.
• Support the evaluation of the financial impact of alternative proposals/ workout resolutions.
• Monitor and interpret Regional performance against Long Range Plan in consultation with APEC Finance and other market leaders, in order to develop actionable financial/business recommendations and responses to optimize performance and drive growth and profitability.
• Provide return on investment analysis on business initiatives ensuring the right financial approaches and resources are brought to bear. Analysis focuses on gathering and synthesizing current state data, understanding and modeling future state proposals, and developing presentations that compare data, highlight risks and focuses on qualitative and quantitative issues.
• Support development of analyses for the Region’s Long Range Plan.

POSITION SUMMARY

Leads the design process with focus on efficiency, cost effectiveness and accountability in producing interior design projects reflecting current interior design trends and hotel brand standards.

• Leads the Interior Design Program, with effort focused on educating, guiding and influencing customers as a hotel brand products and services.
