About the role

Due to continued growth, an exciting contract opportunity now exists to join a highly experienced,

collaborative and outcomes focused Asia-Pacific IT team working closely with the helpdesk and applications

team, end users and stakeholders across the region.

We are seeking an Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our Infrastructure Team to manage the day to day

operations of our network and infrastructure, as well as level two help desk support and project related tasks.

The scope includes all infrastructure used by our regional offices, such as networks, servers, databases,

devices, user desktops/laptops, virtualisation, phone system, email, etc.

This role will be based in Singapore and reports to the IT Operations Manager– Asia.

Key Responsibilities

▪ Provide end user support for day-to-day Laptop/PC usage (both applications and infrastructure)

▪ Serve as a point of contact for internal users seeking technical assistance over the support ticketing

system with regards to Infrastructure and Network related issues

▪ Ensure operational and change processes and architecture principles are being followed strictly

▪ Assist on projects ensuring the transition from project to BAU support, identifying operational support

requirements for new systems/system changes, identify required resources for projects/change

requests and ensure consistency in the way IT changes are executed

▪ May be required to work after hours and weekends on an ad hoc basis depending on business

requirements

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

▪ Minimum Diploma/Tertiary or professional qualification in Information Technology/Computer Science

▪ Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in Microsoft Windows Desktops, Servers and Networking

and Virtualisation technologies

▪ Previous experience working with Microsoft 365, Cloud and Virtualisation technology would be ideal.

▪ experience working with IT Service Management/Ticketing System would be advantages.

▪ Must be comfortable working in a team-based environment as well as being able to work

independently.

▪ Demonstrated collaborative working style, with good interpersonal and excellent communication

skills, both written and verbal

▪ Experience in IT operational processes, Help Desk processes and Infrastructure maintenance

▪ Knowledge in IT Security and working in a regional role would be advantageous.

▪ This will be a 12 month contract with a possibility to extend or convert to a permanent position.

About the role

Due to the growing demand for technology protection in Singapore and regionally, our team in Singapore is currently looking for Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical Engineers/ Physics to train as Patent Attorneys.

Candidates will be considered for a Patent Engineer position and will have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics. A PhD or Master’s degree or an equivalent amount of related work experience will be viewed very favorably. More importantly, candidates must exhibit strong English Language communication skills (both written and oral) and the capacity for understanding diverse technologies.

The role will involve all aspects of patent work including the drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications in Singapore and abroad.

Successful candidates will receive training and development towards achieving the coveted professional status of a Singapore Registered Patent Attorney with very attractive remuneration at qualification level. Accordingly, candidates must be ready to make a long-term commitment (typically at least 4-5 years) to study outside of typical office hours to pass the necessary examinations to qualify as a Patent Attorney.

We are currently looking for an experienced Prosecution Administrator to join our operations team with the main focus of the role covering the following:

• Preparing and editing official documents for submission to patent offices and clients
• Monitoring and tracking of crucial deadlines
• Managing the respective Patent Engineers, Scientists/Associates dockets as well as their Work In Progress Reports.
• Assisting the professional staff in all aspects of the prosecution workflow and willing to put in extra time, if needed, for any urgent work with imminent deadlines.
• Filing of patent forms through Electronic Filing System IP2SG
• General secretarial/administrative duties including preparing invoices
• Attending to ad-hoc urgent matters

The key requirements for this role will include:

• 5 "O" level passes with credit in English or a secretarial certificate
• 3-5 years relevant work experience in patent administration, including experience using IP2SGm (preferred). Experience in a legal secretary/administrative role would also be considered
• PC literate in MS Office with good word processing skills
• Must be a good team player and be willing to work extra hours if required
• Able to work independently, under pressure and deal tactfully with people at all levels
• Good time management and good organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and deal with high volumes of work whilst working in a fast paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to be flexible
• Ability to communicate fluently in English (both written & spoken)
