South Devon College is recruiting for a Lecturer in Green Skills and Renewables to work with the Business Solutions Team and employers to develop and implement a curriculum that meets local/regional needs, such as the Level 3 Low Carbon Heating Technician Apprenticeship Standard. You will work with the Curriculum Head and Programme Co-ordinator to inform wider study Green Skills Curriculum offer, to include a study programme offer which will enhance the existing provision.
The successful candidate will hold an NVQ level 3 Technical/vocational qualification in Gas Engineering and hold a teaching qualification or be willing to achieve one whilst in post. You will need knowledge and experience in the installation of Green/Renewable Technologies such as Ground/Air Source Heat pumps, and Solar Thermal. The successful candidate will have good inter-personal skills with a keen interest in/understanding of student-centered learning and the ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff and other stakeholders.
