Regional Sales Manager
Location: South of England
Safeguard Pest Control part of the Orkin Rollins group of companies is one of the top five pest control companies in the UK, covering England, Scotland, and Wales. With over 30 years’ experience, we specialise in all forms of commercial and residential pest control, bird control and specialist environmental services.
Main purpose and scope of job
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for customer and revenue growth with the Safeguard Business division. Including delivering against annual sales targets, contract growth and customer retention.
Position within organisation
Reports to: Divisional Managing Director
Responsible for: Sales and Business Development Team
Budget Responsibilities: Annual Revenue
Duties and key responsibilities
Responsible for developing the sales function, coordinating sales activity, and implementing selling techniques that allow the business to meet and surpass its annual revenue targets.
Develop and implement sales plans that expand the contracted customer base, to achieve sustainable growth.
Ensure that Safeguard adopts and pursues a positive and progressive culture regarding contracted revenue growth.
Build and promote strong, long lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
Identify emerging markets and market shift whilst being fully aware of new product.
Own, recruit and set objective targets for the sales function. Coaching and performance monitoring of the sale team.
Working with the Division Managing Director, identify growth opportunities to expand the Safeguard business in the South of England.
Be a key senior member of the Safeguard management team.
Experience
Proven track record of selling and be self-motivated with a positive outlook on targets.
Experience in developing and implementing sales management systems with the Pest industry.
Experience of facilitating and communicating with customers, with the aim of bringing about improvements to service and deepening the customer relationship.
Ability to build effective relationships with numerous stakeholders.
Strong people and influencing skills.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Ability to work collaboratively at all levels within an organisation.
Ability to deal positively with customers.
Ability to re-evaluate priorities, responding quickly and positively to change.
Proven success of delivering targets.

Salary: From £35,000.00 p.a. dependant on experience, plus benefits.
