International Growth Practice

The International Growth Practice (IGP) is a dedicated team of experts which support companies in achieving their Growth Markets entry and expansion ambitions. The team is based in Singapore but operates globally, collaborating with the rest of PwC's global network to support clients navigate strategic and operational issues which are specific to these complex new markets.

• Gain unique insight global Growth Markets beyond South East Asia
• Develop deep Growth Markets knowledge and insights

Requirements

• At least 5 years’ experience in a Professional services / Management Consultancy (not Technology Consulting) or industry (Retail, Consumer, Manufacturing, Automotive, Healthcare, Infrastructure)
• Experience and keen interest of working in or with both Developed and Growth Markets clients
• Experience in Management Consulting, (Strategy, Customer, Operations, Deals). Identifying client issues, shaping strategies and execution plans to help client growth in Growth Markets.
• Experience of managing Consulting projects, ideally within market entry or expansion
• Financial analysis and analytical modelling
• Ability to develop insightful statements and support client discussions with data analysis

• At least 5 years’ experience in a Professional services / Management Consultancy (not Technology Consulting) or industry (Retail, Consumer, Manufacturing, Automotive, Healthcare, Infrastructure)
• Experience and keen interest of working in or with both Developed and Growth Markets clients
• Experience in Management Consulting, (Strategy, Customer, Operations, Deals). Identifying client issues, shaping strategies and execution plans to help client growth in Growth Markets.
• Experience of managing Consulting projects, ideally within market entry or expansion

Job Description

• Be a high impact team member supporting our portfolio of client projects which are focused on driving expansion strategies in the Consumer Goods and Industrial Products sectors for clients who are either:
  (a) seeking international expansion into a new market or region or;
  (b) exploring realignment of their existing supply chain and production footprints t0 being more rebalanced and resilient.
• Typical engagements will focus on developing in depth analysis and insights for:
• 1. Market expansion strategies (Where to play) – market, consumer and competitor assessments as well as product and services analysis
• 2. Market entry scenarios (How to win) – Channel strategies, operating model design, partner evaluation and selection.
• 3. Global and regional site selection for new HQs, R&D sites, manufacturing / production plants
• 4. Global talent assessments, to assess the availability of talent for growth strategies
• 5. Supplier portfolio realignment, identifying and assessing suppliers to meet the needs of realigned supply chains and manufacturing.
• 6. Strategic points of view focused on international growth
• In addition, support client discussions and workshops with senior executives of corporate organisations and governments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience working in either the consumer goods or industrials sector in either a management consulting setting or within industry in strategy or general management role
• International experience working in growth markets around the world (E.g. Southeast Asia, China, India, Middle East, Latin America, Africa and CEE)
• Experience delivering client consulting projects with multiple stakeholders and teams in different countries
• Experienced in managing data collection and analysis and resourceful with excellent research and analytical skills; can transform quantitative and qualitative data into insights relating to country, sector and consumer trends, competitive intelligence
• Possesses ability to develop insightful presentations to support proposals, client discussions and business development pursuits
• Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Possesses strong communication and presentation skills

About you

About you

• Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) in Information technology or related field of study and/or completed certifications involving cybersecurity
• 2 - 4 Years Relevant Experience
• Previous experience in Cyber or Legal roles pertaining to the interaction with Stakeholders or Clients, particularly as it relates to the review and negotiation of legal documents.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities via continuous application of independent judgment and collaboration and preferably have experience dealing with large, complex clients
• Experience working with or coordinating efforts involving contributors from multiple stakeholder groups in business, service delivery and client/supplier teams is also important for this role.
• Any experience working with security governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) processes and applications; and executing tasks related to Client contract review and stakeholder interaction with a degree of autonomy will also be desirable
• Analytical: Inquisitive nature and intuition regarding what questions to ask, when, and their relative significance.
• Technical: Knowledge of IT security assessment processes, including audit, vulnerability scanning, and security policy and standards review. Experience creating and managing IT security policies and standards. Ability to manage risks in an organization that uses a global sourcing strategy. Knowledge and understanding of the risks that exist in a business and security environment comprised of multiple global geographies and suppliers.
• Business: High level understanding of PwC’s business model, service offerings, and business operating environment as it pertains to the firm’s threat landscape. Ability to frame threats and exposures in a business context recognized by non-technical staff and executives.
• Communication: Strong customer-facing verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable independently engaging with stakeholders up to the executive level and all levels of PwC management.
