My client is a global, award-winning leading provider of innovative power, thermal, and IT infrastructure solutions and services for digital infrastructure. My client designs, manufactures, and services critical digital infrastructure technology for data centres, communication networks, and commercial/industrial environments. Their mission is to create new solutions for critical infrastructure that enable vital applications for data centres and communication networks. Whether it's powering data centres or ensuring reliable communication networks, my client plays a crucial role in supporting the availability of innovative technologies worldwide. Your new role As a HVAC Technician, you will play a vital role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. You will work closely with a team of skilled professionals to deliver high-quality services to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality and energy efficiency.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC equipment issues and providing effective repair solutions.
Installing, inspecting, and repairing various HVAC components, including compressors, motors, fans, and ductwork.
Collaborating with team members and clients to develop and implement customised HVAC solutions.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while working on HVAC systems.
Documenting service activities, including maintenance reports, work orders, and equipment records.
Working on and around energised electrical equipment. Working on live refrigerant lines and pressure vessels.
Unaccompanied (Lone worker) after-hours work and being on an on-call roster is needed.
What you'll need to succeed
Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent).
Technical knowledge - data centres, telecom, commercial & industrial or similar industries is desirable.
Proven experience as a HVAC Technician, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and components.
Sound knowledge of HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC equipment and systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
Valid driving licence and a clean driving record.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
