KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Technical Supervisor to manage day to day operations related to vessel repairs

· Board vessels to lead miscellaneous repairs related to hull, pipes, hydraulics and mechanical repairs.

· Prepare quotations based on customer requirements and must have indepth knowledge on vessel repair scopes.

· Co ordinate between clients and various operations teams for jobs for arrangements and executing repair jobs.

· Sound knowledge on welding related to pipes and plate drawings.

· Able to travel at short notice to shipyards to co ordinate and lead critical projects and onboard vessels.

· Able to stay onboard vessels for a longer period while managing critical projects.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Main Requirements:

· A strong background in mechanical, hydraulic, and structural engineering, particularly in the maritime industry, is essential

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with a commitment to delivering results and driving continuous improvement

· Prior experience in managing and executing vessel repair projects is crucial. This includes a deep understanding of various repair techniques and procedures related to hulls, pipes, hydraulics, and mechanical systems

In this role, you will be essential in addressing technical support inquiries, setting up and maintaining network infrastructure, and collaborating with our support team to resolve issues efficiently. This is a full-time position based in Singapore.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Respond to technical support inquiries from vessels regarding computer, network, application, and connectivity issues.

· Set up and install computers, network infrastructure (up to L2), and software on shore for vessels.

· Collaborate with the support team to resolve cases remotely as needed.

· Diagnose and resolve network, hardware, and software issues.

· Maintain inventories of hardware and software.

· Assist with warehouse operations related to pickups, deliveries, and packing.

· Provide IT briefings to office personnel as required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

· Proficient in L1 networking, Windows OS and MS office, WiFi networking, network infrastructure, firewall, VLANs, routing

ABOUT THE ROLE Join our dynamic team as an Accountant. This is a full-time role based in Singapore and reports to the HR Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for GL, AP and AR
• Responsible for the monthly bank reconciliation and fixed assets schedule
• Responsible for cash flow, bank reconciliations
• Responsible for staff claims reimbursement
• Assist in the preparation and submission of quarterly GST
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaising with auditor
• Maintain balance sheet, P&L sheets
• Prepare and generate related invoices and credit notes timely with use of PAL system
• Monitor and collect accounts receivable and payments and maintain billing system.
• Appreciate, understand, and execute the entire chain of account end to end (i.e. from shippers invoicing/payment to customer invoicing/payments till Audit).
• Liaise with insurance agencies for all insurance matters along with HR
• Establish relationship with overseas team members
• Adhoc administration duties as assigned

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Market expansion – to grow and diversify our products and client base, focusing in our in-house PAL application and software, especially with focus on the various Accounts module, Financial Reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) module
• External and internal stakeholder management, ensuring all projects are tracked, executed within timelines, and accounted for
• Deal structuring and execution, which requires cross-department collaborations in order to ensure successful transactions, acquisitions and integration process of post-acquisition
• Compliance and risk management – including ensuring our companies employ best practices that are a best fit for our business models, ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating risks associated with these activities, in order to safeguard the organization’s interests throughout the deal life cycle
