Salary: £23,401.51 (£27,058 pro rata’d)

Team Leader (REF:SID001)
Salary: £18,255.47 / £11.57 per hour (£22,329 pro rata)
Hours: 30.25 per week (see working pattern below)
Location: Sidmouth Library

Support the Library Supervisor, and other members of the management team in leading and delivering an innovative, customer focused, high quality service at Sidmouth Library. This is a frontline role, and you will be leading and supporting the team of Customer Service Assistants to develop and deliver excellent services and customer care on a day to day basis.

As part of the Sidmouth Team the post holder will provide support for the smooth running of the library on weekdays and at weekends, working closely with the team to ensure that all operational processes are undertaken efficiently and effectively.

You will be responsible for contributing to the overall performance of the library and the organisation, increasing visitor numbers and membership as well as clearly demonstrating the social value that libraries can bring to individuals and communities.

You will have direct responsibility for line managing a team of Customer Service Assistants and volunteers. You will also support and engage with other libraries and teams in Devon Libraries and across the organisation as required.
