Your Opportunity
As Logistics Operations Assistant Manager, you are responsible for coordinating and monitoring daily warehouses activities, in order to secure logistic execution and match expected service level at defined costs. Our priority is to reach operational excellence in order fulfillment and reverse logistics, to fulfill clients and stores on time and meet our Brands’ expectations.
The Logistics Operations manager leads activities related to operational planning, process enhancements & project management to build more efficient operations, and support to ensure efficient communication and alignment across all brands in our warehouses located in South East Asia. One aspect of the role is to manage consensus between all parties involved in the distribution process (3PL, Brands, Finance,…).
The position is based in our most recent Distribution Center in Singapore, overlooking at operations in the countries in scope: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and India.
Direct reporting is to the Logistics Operations Manager.
How you will contribute
OPERATIONS
· Manage 3PLs to ensure all orders are processed and delivered within SLA;
· Implement a proactive communication to ensure issues are raised clearly to brands
· Align with brands on their guidelines; liaise with 3PLs for staff to be trained accordingly
· Partner with 3PLs to verify all SOPs are up to date and are being dully followed
· Review daily forecast with 3PLs; confirm they have the staffing in place to operate within SLA
· Pilot backlogs – due to operational issues, systemic issues, weather, etc. – and ensure 3PLs have a plan from headcount and overtime shifts to get back within SLA. Inform Brands
· Bring environmental concerns at center of discussions and partner with Sustainability Ambassador to implement actions related to Operations
· Ensure compliance to Maison's and Group's standards & legal rules (Safety, Security and Social labor treatment)
PERFORMANGE MANAGEMENT
· Monitor warehouse KPIs, performance costs and efficiency analysis; Propose and lead corrective actions plans in case of underperformance
· Animate regular meetings (daily, weekly, monthly) to review all aspects of partnerships
· Perform operational audit and drive improvement plans; contribute to providers' audits
· Drive reduction of cost per piece by monitoring processes efficiency
· Focus on stock accuracy within the warehouses and pilot inventory KPIs to challenges brands and 3PLs on a common action plan
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
· Partner with Central team and local Process improvement team on projects; be the OPS advocate to ensure all systemic requirements are in place and tested prior to go-live; ensure all new systems enhancement or implementation are consistent with current Supply Chain & Logistics Core Model.
· Partner with the local brands to understand upcoming initiatives, expected go-live, and ensure minimum disruption to the day-to-day operations
· Review all Kering internal processes as well as 3PLs operations processes; collaborate with Kering Process engineer to reduce waste, increase throughput, and tighten controls
· Appraise and develop 3rd party logistic providers in order to ensure required continuous improvements in operations and / or propose and implement breakthrough changes required to deliver logistic challenges
Who you are
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Technology or related field
· 3 years experience in the Logistics & Supply Chain field; affinity with Warehouse related work
· Previous experience working with stakeholders from different functions, locations and time zones
· Capable of working under pressure and prioritizing multiple tasks and inputs from stakeholders
· Process and Continuous Improvement mindset
· An individual with excellent communication for reporting and visibility purposes with all levels of seniority, capable of synthetizing as well as equipped with sense of detail
· Strong organizational and analytical skills; autonomy and problem-solving approach;
· Adept in Ms Office (especially Excel)
· Knowledgeable and well versed in OMS and WMS systems and their nuances
