Finance Manager
· Direct and oversee the accounting, finance and admin functions of the organization.
· To work closely with the Business Development, Sales and Operations team to drive the planning and budgeting process for products and sales channels.
· To evaluate the impact of current and potential businesses and to ensure controls and risk management processes are managed effectively across the businesses.
· Provide business intelligence to the Business Development and Sales team in the form of data analysis, account/distributor/customer performance, market trends and competitor activities.
· Advise on funding requirements and structure to drive and support business expansion and acquisitions.
· To prepare relevant analysis to support Management decision making, driving transparency and insight into the business and action required to improve.
· Ensure timely completion of accounting processes and generation of financial and management reports.
· Monitor and ensure healthy and adequate cash-flow and funding to support on-going operations.
· Review and improve accounting and finance processes for better workflow, efficiency and controls.
· Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and reporting standards.
· Handle tax matters to optimize tax liabilities.
· Deal with external auditors and regulatory bodies on accounting and tax matters.
· Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Human Resources
· Prepare job specifications, review and shortlist job applicants for line and functional heads to interview, follow-up with successful job candidates on job offer and prepare employment contracts.
· Process payroll for 30 staffs
· Plan, organize and implement human resource initiatives to support business growth and operations.
· Work closely with line and function heads to support them in manpower planning (including annual manpower budgeting), acquisition, deployment and monitoring of manpower level.
· Work closely with line and functional heads to help motivate, develop and retain employees.
· Prepare inputs and coordinate increment and bonus determination, compute increment and bonus payment and prepare letters to inform the employees.
· Prepare job specifications, review and shortlist job applicants for line and functional heads to interview, follow-up with successful job candidates on job offer and prepare employment contracts.
· Work closely with line and functional heads to plan, initiate and organize training programmes and development activities to make the employees more effective and competent.
· Ensure proper upkeep of staff information such as manpower records and salary information.
· Review, design and administer employee benefits programmes, including insurance claims.
· Perform other human resource and related function as and when required.
