Job Description:
- Manage the finance department’s operations, financial transactions, and accounting for the Singapore Group, which includes subsidiaries in China, Vietnam, and the USA.
- Ensure compliance with established financial SOPs and workflow processes.
- Maintain high standards for financial transactions, reporting, business processes, and accounting policies to support and enhance internal controls.
- Review local and subsidiary management accounts and prepare monthly consolidated financial reports, comparing them against budgets.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure timely reporting and review of shipments, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Coordinate with service providers in all regions to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including audit, tax, corporate secretarial, legal, HR, and accounting matters.
- Perform user acceptance testing, system migration, and implementation for transitioning to new accounting software.
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
- Monitor the Group's daily cash flow.
- Review payroll of subsidiaries.
- Review payment requests, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Review journal entries.
- Assess employee claims and reimbursements.
- Perform any other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
- At least six years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in reading, typing, and communicating in Mandarin.
- Experience with NetSuite Oracle or QuickBooks is a strong advantage.
- Ability to adapt to new processes and systems.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
